Chapter 18 : A Way Out

Yuna's POV

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SHE'S MISSING?"

"S-she wasn't at the building when we sleptover last night... She isn't at the dorm either. We called her phone multiple times realising she left her phone behind"

"She didn't run away. Someone took her"

"How are you sure of that Yuna?"

"Because I know. My sister would never do that. Don't worry about the situation. I don't want this to get to the public. I'll send my bodyguards to you to keep you safe for the next few days before this happens again"

"Okay... Stay strong Yuna"

"Thanks Irene, talk to you later"

It's 7 in the morning and I was in the kitchen to get a glass of water since I just woke up. It was all fine and relaxing until I got a call from Irene saying Seulgi was missing. I don't want to point fingers, I have a deep feeling it's Kai's doing. I called Jiwon to ask if she could accompany me for work today.

"Morning Jiwon, sorry for calling you this early"

"That's okay, I was already up. What's going on?"

"Seulgi's missing"

"Can you repeat that? I don't think I heard that clearly"

"Seulgi. Is. Missing"

"Shit"

I heard rustling from the other side so I assume she's getting her stuff ready.

"Do you think it's Kai's doing?"

"Who else could it be? It's not like anyone is after her. I think he's doing it to trick me and for me to keep my eye off the girls"

"Is he that extreme? To kidnap your sister?"

"He's an evil man, Jiwon. He would do anything just to hurt me. At this point I think he's trying to kill me instead of the girls"

"I'm coming over immediately"

"Can you meet me and the girls at the radio station in the city? They're having a radio show today"

"Sure. I'll be there in 30"

"Okay, bye. Drive safe"

I brushed my hair back and finished drinking the water and placed the glass in the sink.

"Hey, everything okay?"

I turned around and leaned against the sink. It was Dahyun.

"Uh yeah, yeah. Everything's fine"

"Are you sure? I heard yelling"

"I can't lie to you can I?"

"Don't think you can"

She sat on the barstool that was facing me.

"Don't tell your members but, my sister is missing"

She widened her eyes.

"Is that something you should hide from your parents?"

"I need to make sure that she is really gone. She could be somewhere else doing her own thing"

"But your parents Yuna. They are in this industry as well aren't they? They're going to find out, if the word goes around"

"I told Irene and her members not to tell anyone at all. I trust them. And now I trust you. So I beg you not to tell ANYONE at all... Not even your members. Please?"
