my workout with cody went well and i think it is a good time for bonding. when we left and went to get smoothies cody got a call and said that it was private and walked away. i brushed it off not wanting to think about what jeff said.
we got into his jeep and drove back to jeff's. he got another call. it was on bluetooth. then the man on the phone spoke out.
"hey cody you almost here?"
"yea just gotta drip soemone off before i come"
"they're waiting man, starting to get mad. this is a big deal we're signing cody-"
"woah woah woah i gotta go man"
he quickly shut off the call and the music resumed.
we finally got back to jeff's and i slammed the door in frustration.
"elle wait....you haven't talked the entire time baby what's wrong?"
"don't even cody...what was that all about?"
"what was what about?"
did he really think i was that dumb.
"i'm just someone to you leave me alone cody i don't wanna talk right now"
"elle wait that's not what i meant...."
i still continued to walk away and into the apartment complex
i knew exactly where i was going.
