ANNA WELLS and Barry Allen are Central
City's favourite speedy superheroes and are
well-known to all its citizens. They lived happily
and took down metahumans before they could
cause too much trouble and/or escape.

But then, the Reverse-Flash showed up.

With the arrival of a big bad, the two
speedsters were put through hell trying to
find the man behind the mask when,
unfortunately, it had been someone they least expected it to be the whole time.

With Eobard Thawne finally out of their hair,
Team Flash were finally expecting a break.

That was until the singularity showed up.

After Anna tried to run after Barry, Shannon
opened a portal and breached the blue speedster
into a containment cell in the pipeline to keep her safe.

Now, with the singularity closed, they think they'll have a shot at something normal—to catch a break until their next big bad arrives.

But it doesn't last as long as they'd hoped.

❝Once we got Eobard Thawne out of our hair,
we thought we were safe—we thought we would
have a chance to live without the constant
fear of death hanging over our heads.

But, instead of living in peace together,
the team split apart and we found our own
ways to live without fear. The singularity had
ruined lives—ruined a family—and no one
kept in contact for a while after that.

Once we all came back together, it wasn't
long before another threat loomed over us—
something much darker than Thawne, much
more evil and deadly than anything we had
seen before.

We hadn't faced anything like this one before,
and this one scared the crap out of all of us.
This was the one that made it hard to sleep
at night, made it hard to not want to look over
your shoulder every chance you had.

This was the one that made us all fight
harder than we had ever fought before—made
us fight harder than we had signed up for.❞
