"BARRY," ANNA SAID and took a step forward, reaching for his hand, but he was already gone. "Barry!" She screamed and bolted forward, stepping straight into a light blue portal that sent her spinning through darkness for only a second until her feet landed on the solid floor of one of the containment cells in the pipeline.
Anna slammed her palms against the glass, tears forming in her eyes as she let out a scream so forceful and loud that it made her throat raw, yelling his name in hopes that he would hear it and let her out.
"Barry!"
"BARRY! SHANNON!" ANNA screamed, slamming her fists against the glass as hard as she could even though she knew the glass would never break. Tears poured down over the girl's cheeks and she pressed her forehead against the glass, looking down at her feet as she continued to lightly tap her fist against the glass, her left hand falling to her side while her right still remained a loose fist, tapping against the unbreakable glass."Somebody! Please! Let me out!"
Anna lost track of how long she had been in the cell but she knew it couldn't have been more than a few hours. She went from sitting, to laying down, to standing up and repeating it over and over again. She even tried to take a nap, but every time she closed her eyes, she pictured herself waking up without Barry anywhere near her.
"Barry, please," Anna called out weakly, tapping her forehead against the glass. She swallowed a lump in her throat and sighed, blinking away the tears that formed in her eyes. "Please, let me out," she whispered and dropped her right hand to her side, letting out a sharp sigh.
At the sound of approaching footsteps, Anna lifted her head and looked forward, her lip beginning to quiver at the sight of her scarlet speedster walking toward the pipeline slowly.
"Barry," she breathed out and stepped away from the glass, a small smile tugging at the corners of her lips as her cell doors slowly opened. She inhaled sharply and stepped out of the cell, running toward her partner and throwing her arms around his neck tightly, pushing herself up onto the tips of her toes. "You're okay. Thank God," she whispered and rested a hand on the back of his head, closing her eyes as a tear rolled down her cheek.
