After spending an hour in the Map Room trying to decipher what the hidden exit could look like, I felt a fire inside of me. From the beginning I felt drawn to being a Runner. Knowing that I might somehow be connected to WCKD made me more certain I wanted to escape as soon as possible.
"We should start getting the bonfire ready", Ben said.
"Yeah we should continue our talk tomorrow", Minho said giving Ben a restrained smile.
"Violet, Minho, both of you can tidy up this bloody mess", Newt said already walking out the door.
Guess I get some time alone with you.
"Don't sweat it princess", I said, "we're here to clean."
He rolled his eyes and I waited for the explosion.
"Guess your feelings got too attached to Ben", He said.
"Let's just say I know how to get what I want."
I could feel his gaze on me as I put the maps in the bins.
"Can I atleast get a kiss?", he said coming closer.
"Will it make you shut up?", I asked turning around.
He nodded.
I planted a kiss on his cheek and he frowned.
"You didn't clarify where you wanted the kiss", I said finishing the cleaning.
"Thanks for helping me clean", I said rolling my eyes.
"My pleasure", he said smiling.
We stared at each other until we heard a loud, familiar alarm.
