The next day I took off of school and worked from 9 to 9. 12 hours!

"How was work?" mom asks me.

"Better than school," I giggle.

My phone rings, and Luke's name appears.

"Hi?" I answer.

"I'm not mad at you like everyone else. Jo, I miss you, and I need to talk to you," he says.

"Come over," I say.

"Be there in 5."

I hug Luke as I open the door.

"I missed you. I miss all of you," I frown.

"The others will get over soon," he chuckles.

We go upstairs to my room and sit on my bed.

"Who is this?" Jesse asks, coming in my room.

"Jesse, this is Luke. Luke, this is my brother Jesse," I smile.

They shake hands and Jesse heads back out.

"You remember when you and Ricky broke up, and he had sex with Fiona?" Luke asks.

I cringe.

"Yes," I frown.

Luke grabs my hand.

"Fiona's pregnant."

"She's what?!" I jump up.

"But, there is a possibility that it's not Ricky's," he says.

Tears start to form.

"Fiona also had sex with some guy named Michael, so it might be his," he says.

"I hope it's Michaels," I say.

"They're all going to take a paternity test next month. Are you going to school tomorrow?" Luke asks me.

"Seeing Ricky kills me. I miss him so much, but mom is making me go to school tomorrow," I groan.

"Ricky misses you. I can tell," Luke smiles.

"I doubt I'll get him back," I say.

"Keep your head up," Luke hugs me.

"Goodnight," I say as he heads out.

"Night."

"Sweetheart, wake up," I feel Jesse shaking me.

"Do I have to go to school?" I frown.

"You're a trooper. You can do it," Jesse smiles at me.

He helps me up and I get ready. I stop by work to get my 500$ paycheck. I go to the bank and cash it. I then drive to school.

I sit in the car a write a note to Ricky.

Dear Ricky,

What I did was the stupidest thing I could ever do. I regret going to the club and I regret smashing your car. I wish I could make it all better but I know I can't. I miss you so much, but I know you need space. I know that when our babies are born I will see you in them. I hope they grow up to be as sweet and smart as you are. Here's 500$ to help with your car.

Love,

J.M.M

I stick the money in the envelope and seal the envelope. I head to his classroom, which is empty, and stick the note inside his desk.

I then head to Ezra's room and sit down in the back.

"Hey Jo," Chase half smiles at me.

"Are you still mad?" I ask.

"Not anymore. I understand how you were feeling," he grins.

I hug him.

"Wanna eat outside with me and Luke?" I ask.

"Yeah, totally," he smiles.

We head outside and I sit down next to Luke.

"How's it goin?" I giggle.

"Great," Luke smirks.

"So Ali and Paige are still mad?" I ask.

"They're coming around. I know they miss you like crazy," Chase says.

"I miss them too."

During gym when everyone goes outside I stay in the classroom.

"Jo, why?" I hear Ricky say.

I look up.

"Why what?" I ask.

"You don't need to give me this money. The babies need it more," he says.

"I feel awful about what happened. So if you want to spend that money on the babies go ahead," I say.

I start to tear up so I head outside to the parking lot.

"Jo wait!" Ricky calls.

I turn around.

"I moved stuff into the new house. Meet me there tonight please," he says.

I nervously give him a nod and drive home.

"Jesse!" I call when I get inside.

"In the kitchen!" he calls back

I walk into the kitchen.

"Ricky, my teacher, wants to meet me tonight," I say.

"Go for it," Jesse smiles.

"You think I should?" I ask.

"The way that guy sent me daggers makes me think he really cares, so you should go," Jesse smiles.

I hug him and head upstairs to watch some TV before I leave.

I knock on Ricky's door, my nerves going crazy.

He answers and I can't help but stare at him. I miss him so much.

"Come in," he says.

I walk inside and find my way in his new house.

I sit down on his couch and look around.

"Jo, I don't want this money," he states.

"I don't care. It's a result of my actions," I say.

He sighs.

I look down.

"I should probably go," I say.

I get up and head toward the door.

"I didn't mean what I said. I still care about you Jo. I'll see you in school."

I head to work and work an extra two hours before heading home.
