•Tori's POV•

Uh, school was so boring, I actually cannot wait until I finish. Only this year to go, and then I'm free from this boring school.

I walked back home, and when I got in I heard my mum talking to someone. I opened the living room door and saw my mum was on the phone.

"Yes Liz, that would be wonderful! It's been a long time since we all got together." Mum said. What is she going on about? She saw Liz last week.

"Okay, well we'll see you tomorrow, bye." Mum said whilst ending the call.

I came and jumped on the sofa next to her.

"So, what was that all about?" I said in a high pitched voice.

"We're going round next door tomorrow." Mum said simply.

"Why?" I asked. I do not want to go next door. Knowing that that boy used to live there was enough, but actually going there is ten times worse.

"They're throwing a surprise party." Mum said.

"For who?" I asked.

"For Luke. Remember, your old friend." Mum said.

He is not my friend.

"I don't want to go." I snapped.

"Why? They haven't seen you in a while Tori." Mum said sadly.

"I don't like surprise parties." I lied.

"Shut up, I know you do. Remember when it was your dad's birthday and we did the party the day before to surprise him, you was so excited." Mum said.

"Well, now I don't." I lied again.

"Yeah, okay then. You're still going." Mum said.

"No!" I shouted.

"Tori, it's one party. It's going to be fun." Mum said.

Fun. It won't be fun. It will be boring.

I sighed loudly and went up to my room.

"What's wrong with you?" I jumped from the voice that startled me.

"Daniel! What are you doing in here?" I said whilst catching my breathe back.

"I borrowed your laptop. I need to get my biology work done." Daniel said.

"Uh, okay." I said.

"What's wrong with you?" Daniel said whilst laughing.

"Mum just told me that we're all going over Liz's house tomorrow to throw a surprise party for Luke." I said.

"Really? I haven't seen Luke in ages!" Daniel said excitedly.

I threw a pillow at him.

"What was that for?" He asked.

"You're really excited to see Luke?" I wondered.

"Yeah, he's a nice guy an-" I interrupted him.

"He is not a nice guy." I said simply.

"Tori, stop holding a grudge over Luke." Daniel said.

I rolled my eyes and laid on my bed.

"So what times the party?" Daniel asked.

"I don't know." I said.

"Well, let's find some clothes to wear for this party!" Daniel spoke in a girly voice.

"Okay then, Danielle." I mocked.

"Shut up!" He shouted back.

"Sorry, Daniel left for a moment, and Danielle came." I laughed.

He whacked my arm.

"Come on, let's see what we can wear for tomorrow." Daniel said whilst pulling me into his room.

"You'll find what I can wear, and I'll find yours." Daniel said.

"Deal." I said whilst shaking his hand.

-

"Dan, you have so much crap in your wardrobe. You really need to clean it." I said whilst putting some of his clothes into piles.

"Sorry, mum." He whined.

"Do you want my help or not?" I said.

He went quiet.

"Here." I said.

I showed him a pair of black skinny jeans, and blue plaid t-shirt.

"Thanks Tori, now let's find your outfit." Daniel said whilst going into my room.

-

"Here." Daniel said.

"Finally." I said whilst walking in.

My mouth opened wide.

"Look at the mess you made!" I yelled quietly so mum and dad wouldn't hear.

"I had to, because look what I found!" Dan sang.

"Dan, I haven't worn that dress in ages, it probably won't fit." I said whilst putting it against me.

"Shut up! It will fit you." Dan said whilst going back into his room.

I sighed and went into my bathroom.

I carefully put the dress on, worrying that it might not fit. But for once, Dan was right and the dress still fit perfectly.

I walked out and walked around in my room, to break out the dress. Weird phrase I know, since it normally goes with shoes.

"See!" Dan startled me.

"Okay okay, you were right." I admitted.

"Get dressed and let's go downstairs." Dan said whilst leaving.

At least I have something nice to wear tomorrow. But I am dreading to see Luke. He'll probably won't even recognise me. Or well, let's find out shall we.
