Affliction ❄️ Jisung

[Alternate ending]

"Jisung, you are an affectionate person, someone anyone can like, someone I fell I love with."

"I said stop!" He yelled, eyes opening wide in anger.

He stared walking towards the girl, every step exasperated.

When he got closer, the girl reached her hands up, cupping his jaw and pulling him into her- jolting into the kiss.

The sound of the knife dropping to the floor echoed through the empty penthouse.

Every memory, feeling, touch and scent came rushing back to the boy as he melted into the kiss.

For everyone knows a true loves kiss can cure everything.

They had waited 5 long months for this moment. The kiss got heated as Jisung wrapped his hands around her waist and pulled her closer.

Her hands now on the back of his neck, the two trying to make as little distance as possible between each other as desperation and need surrounded the two.

Only breaking away for air and quickly getting back into their heated make out sesh.

"I- I missed you." Areum said between kisses.

The two finally breaking away as their foreheads leant against each other.

"Words can't describe how much I missed you." She said through swollen lips.

"I'm sorry petal, I never meant to put you through this." He admitted, angry at himself he didn't fight longer in the compound he was held captive in.

"Don't apologise baby, you are here now and that's all I can ask for." She looked up towards the boy, eyes batting as tears of happiness filled them.

"You are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." He said in a whisper as he placed his hand on her cheek and his thumb pad wiped the fallen tear.

Her hand reaching up to place on top of his, leaning into his warm hand as she was finally reunited with the love of her life.

"Areum, have you found him?" The others finally made their way up the stairs, Chenle and Renjun now with them.

"I-is he back." Chenle said as he saw his best friend standing there. Jisung nodding as he accompanied a wide smile.

Chenle not wasting any time to run up and into his best friends arms.

"We missed you." He said as the two hugged each other. The other boys now making their way and forming a group hug.

"Don't scare us like that ever again." Chenle said turning serious as he stared at Jisung, only to smile again and continue to hug him.

"Common guys. Let's get the boy home." Areum said ultimately just wanting to hold her boyfriend in her arms again.

The others let go and started walking down the stairs.

As they walked through the door of the mansion, Taeyong and the 127 members were all waiting in front of the stairs.

"Welcome back kiddo." Taeyong said as he gave him a hug.

Jisung went around catching up with all the members, smiles and laughter filling the air.

"How did he know?" Areum asked Jeno, only for him to point at Jaemin who was talking with Haechan.

"I'm just glad he is back." Jeno admitted.

"So am I, it's been too quiet without him." Areum said as the two watched the boy laugh at whatever mark said to him.

"So are you really going through with this?" Jeno asked as he looked down at her.

"Yep, this is the best option for all of us."

"Well then, good luck." Jeno said as he watched her walk slightly up the stairs so she was above everyone.

Clearing her voice to make sure she could be heard.

"Everyone, can I have your attention." And just like that, everyone went quiet, focusing their attention on her.

"I'd like to say that I have decided to dis group the gang. I have now realised that there is more to life than killing and heists. There's dreams, passion and love." She began, but not taking her eyes off of Jisungs.

"Life is too short to be doing what we are doing. So, in saying that. I have bought a new place on to other side of town. A place we can start a-new.

I have trust and faith that you will walk hand in hand with me in this new life that we can lead together.

If you want to stay in the gang, you can. But I won't be there to help you.

So, raise your hand if you will come with me into this new life, a brighter future we will share together as we make our way through the world as a normal family!" She yelled exited at the endless possibilities that could from her decision.

As she looked everyone raised their hands almost instantly, cheers erupting at the idea of a fresh start.

Areum was happy at the outcome of her proposal.

Walking back down the stairs, she made her way back to Jisung.

He placed his hands on her hips and kissed her forehead. "I'm proud of you petal."

"I did this for you, for us." She said as she looked around at the happy faces of her family.

"You amaze me." He said earning her attention again. Their eyes sparkling lovingly as they gazed into each other.

"I love you Jisung." She said placing a kiss on his lips.

"I love you too, Areum."
