First step was finding the reference photo. I took this from Twicetagram.

Second step was sketching the ref photo. It took 5 different dog breeds before I settled on Momo's ears. Mina's didn't take long because I knew the exact expression of cat I needed for this photo.

Next is lineart. Now. I absolutely love lining a piece because honesty I feel like it's cleaner, but sometimes I do love the sketch more. Only because I spend so much time on it making it perfect.

Next was the hard or solid colors. They are also called base colors that you choose to shade and light over!
