Drabble Pt 3 (Mina x Fem Reader)

Y/N was shocked that Mina was able to work quickly, talking to her managers and asking for more favors. Of course Mina had to make promises to work harder, but in the long run, she knew she wouldn't regret it.

Y/N sat in the car with Mina, driving to wherever they needed to go. She had no clue what was being said around her, so she just tuned out until Mina would tap on her shoulder, asking her a question.

"Mina worked quick. Look at this." Jeongyeon chuckled.

"I know. I didn't think she would do it." Nayeon smirked.

"Shut up!" Mina blushed.

It wasn't long before they were at the venue, Mina now almost regretting bringing Y/N with them.

"Look at the fans.." Jeongyeon whispered, shocked that there were so many. Mina looked at Y/N and frowned. It was going to be a little intense.

"Y/N.. Um... If you do not feel comfortable... You can hold my hand." Mina whispered. Y/N smiled at her, taking her hand in hers. Mina blushed at the interaction, but hid it quickly as they got out of the car. "Walk quickly." She whispered while tugging Y/N with her.

Many fans were screaming as they walked, all of them wanting their attention. Mina reached out for a few fan letters, smiling at them as she walked. Y/N was shocked to see so many people screaming for Mina...

When they got into the venue, Mina made sure to quickly explain everything the best she could.

"So... What is all of this?" Y/N asked.

"I know.. I... I didn't tell everything." Mina frowned.

"You didn't have to." Y/N smiled at her. "Just a warning would have been nice." She chuckled. Mina smiled at her, grateful that she wasn't angry.

"I.. I am singer. But in another country.. We have concert here and.. Lots of people like it." Mina whispered. "My manager allow you to come... Because I say you are old friend." She sighed.

"You lied?" Y/N asked. Mina nodded, feeling terrible for lying. "Well I'm honored." She chuckled.

Mina had gotten ready quickly, sitting in her stage outfit while waiting on the rest of her members. She was sitting in a hair and makeup chair while Y/N played on her phone on the couch behind her. She couldn't help but watch Y/N through the mirror, smiling when she saw the little faces she made when she did whatever on her phone.

When she was finished, she sat next to her, taking a small glance at her phone screen. She didn't fully understand what it said, but she knew the word audition. She frowned at the thought of Y/N having to find new work just because her show was done... That was the darker side of Broadway, once the show as done.. You were done. Thrown to the street looking for a new gig. Sometimes you were lucky.. Other times.. Not.

"So... Mina the popstar?" Y/N joked quietly. Mina's cheeks tinted a light pink, hiding her face in Y/N shoulder. "You're cute when you blush." Y/N whispered, a smile on her lips.

"Stop..." Mina whined quietly, her cheeks now turning an even deeper shade. Y/N couldn't help but laugh as she wrapped an arm around her shoulders, holding her close. Mina tensed slightly at the action, but soon melted into it, feeling comfortable and oddly safe.

During the concert, Mina was excited and extremely nervous. She didn't know why. Y/N had been escorted to the audience, and would be escorted back after the show was finished. Mina let out a small breath, holding her hands together, trying to calm herself down.

"You good?" Chaeyoung asked her.

"Yeah... Just nerves." She mumbled.

"Okay.." Chaeyoung frowned, worried for her member.

During the show Mina had did her best to perform without her anxiety showing. She wanted to make it the best show possible. So she fought through it. As she walked along the stage, waving at fans she was able to find Y/N smiling at her. For a second, it felt like she was the only person there, and it brought comfort to her. Y/N gave her a big smile and a thumbs up, giving her the confidence boost she really needed to continue.

The rest of the concert was a win for Mina. She had mentally flagged where Y/N was and whenever she was feeling a little overwhelmed, she would glance over and smile.

When the concert was over, Mina waited for Y/N, smiling when security brought her back in. Mina engulfed Y/N in a hug, quietly thanking her for everything.

Y/N sighed when she got back to her small apartment. She didn't like not having a job, not knowing where her next paycheck was coming from. She reached out to a few friends, asking if their productions were having auditions, but of course they weren't. The limited engagement wasn't long enough to get directors to come looking... Which meant she was pretty much in limbo until something happened.

She ran her hands through her hair, frowning when her phone vibrated. She picked it up seeing a call notification. She picked it up, sighing into the phone as she answered.

"Did I wake you up?" Mina's voice was heard. Y/N smiled, hearing her voice just brought a smile there.

"No.. Just thinking." Y/N answered her. "Can't sleep?"

"Ah, no.." Mina chuckled. "Too much... Energy." She continued.

"Post show rush. I get it." She smiled.

The two talked a little while longer until she heard Mina attempt to stifle a yawn.

"You should sleep... You have a flight to catch in the morning." she whispered.

"I can sleep on the plane... I want to keep talking." She mumbled.

"You're going to fall asleep." Y/N chuckled. She heard a small whine on the other end, smiling to herself.

"Fine.." Mina sighed.

The two said their goodbyes, hanging up and both already missing the other's voice.

Mina frowned as she sat on the plane, her earphones in as she waited for them to take off. She didn't want to leave New York. She wanted to stay and explore more. To actually see things and have a good time... She wanted to keep talking to Y/N, to get to know her more. She knew she could still message her, completely oblivious under the managers that way.

Her members picked up on her mood, and were unable to place why she was feeling torn about leaving. Of course all of them were upset, but they were excited to go to a new place and have fun at their next stop.

Mina smiled as she took photos of her food, sending them to Y/N after they landed. Y/N responding with multiple drooling emojis and happy faces. At night after concerts, she would make sure Y/N was awake and she would call her.

"Any luck?" Mina whispered. She had to be quiet since she was sharing a room this time around. She sat near the door of the room, away from the beds while Jihyo slept.

"Not yet.." Y/N sighed. "I have an audition lined up for this weekend. Can't promise anything though." She frowned. Mina felt terrible for her, she wanted to help her with her struggles, but she really had no clue on how.

"You are good performer.. You will get something." Mina smiled. Her English was improving drastically as she continued talking to Y/N. Of course, she was really only confident in her speaking when it came to Y/N. Never for a full on interview or any press in English.

"Thanks Mina." Y/N chuckled. "You should get some sleep... We can talk tomorrow. Okay?"

"Okay.." Mina whispered. She hung up the phone, an overwhelming feeling of sadness overtaking her as she crawled into the bed. She knew she should've listened to Momo when she said that they were both going to be hurt... But she couldn't stop herself...
