Miyako's POV:

The party had been wonderful. Yûsuke was the first to leave and soon after Momoko left as well. Ryu and Kaoru left later, so I decided it would be the perfect time to give Yoshito his present. I asked him to accompany me to my house, because my grandmother asked me to come back early. We had both started dating recently. We were doing very well. We were close enough to my house, so we stopped.

"Close your eyes, extend your arms and open your hands" I told him.

He did as I asked and then I put a small box in his hands.

"Open your eyes" I said.

I nervously started playing with my hair as I waited for him to open his gift. It was a silver necklace with my name engraved on a heart. He blushed as he watched it.

"I have the other half" I told him.

I took an identical necklace out of my pocket, but mine had his name engraved on it.

"This is the best gift I've ever received, I swear. Thank you, Miyako" he said, still looking at his necklace.

"You're welcome" I blushed.

"I mean it" he continued, "no one has ever make me feel so special as you do. I-I mean, my mother always shows her preference for me, but I think she only does it because she sees me as her most vulnerable son, the weakest."

"You're not weak, Yoshito. It takes a lot of courage to show your feelings. You have a wonderful heart. And I think your mother knows it, just like me" I told him and smiled.

I took a step forward and hugged him. He reciprocated after a few seconds.

"This is my best birthday" he mumbled and I giggled, "but it could be better."

"How?" I asked him and stepped away.

"With a kiss" he smiled to me, blushing.

My cheeks burned at his request and I remained motionless and not knowing what to say. It was like a dream come true, but at the same time, I was scared. I was saved by the bell. Our belts began to ring, signaling that someone was in danger.

"Hello?" I answered.

"There's a disturbance at the theater! Investigate which villain is behind this and stop him!" the professor indicated us.

"Yes, professor!" I replied.

"But aren't you suppose to go home?" Yoshito asked me.

"My grandma will have to wait a little. Let's go! Rolling Bubbles!" I exclaimed and transformed.

"Fine! Explosive Boomer!" he followed me.

Momoko's POV:

We were in the middle of the party when Yûsuke got a call. I couldn't help but hear that this Nagisa had invited him out. And what was even worse, he didn't hesitate to quickly leave to meet her. I didn't know why I was so angry. That was not something that should have mattered to me. However, I couldn't help but feel a warm on my chest. Then I remembered that I had not given him his present yet. The girls and I had agreed to give the boys something and I had Yûsuke. I thought I could reach him, but when I came out he was already gone. I returned to say goodbye to everyone and decided to go to the place of his appointment. He had met Nagisa in a cafeteria, but did not say which one. Still, it was no problem for me to deduce that it was Sakurako's place.

As soon as I got there I saw them sitting there together. Yûsuke had his back to the entrance, and therefore to me. While Nagisa was sitting in front of him. She was talking to him and she suddenly started crying. She saw me out of the corner of her eye as she spoke a few words. I was very embarrassed that she saw me. Surely she had just told Yûsuke that I was there watching them.
