26. Never Forgot

Sky's POV

"Your-Your Alive?" A voice asked. I reluctantly pulled away from Draco's embrace, and discovered that that voice belonged to Chaos, aka my dad. I looked at him and my mom, Khione.

"You two lied to me! I wasn't missing I was kidnapped when I was a baby!" I said coldly to them.

"We're sorry, we just didn't want you to hate us for giving up! And we really did think you were gone!" They practically begged me to forgive them. Suddenly it was like a part of my mind was unlocked. Their voices... I remember them...

---------Flash Back---------

I was alone in the woods. I've been on the run for about a year now. I was so cold. I tripped over a tree root and fell on my back. I stared up at the stars. I was so cold, I was so tired. I wanted to give up. I cold just close my eyes and never again open them. Then I heard a woman's and a man's voice in my head, singing.

Trust me, you'll be OK
For once in your life, don't be scared
And actually try just being brave.

I got up. Where did I know that song from? I don't know. Two faces flashed across my mind. A man and a women.

The man was tan and muscular and he was wearing a cloak. He had a hood, but it was down. His eyes were like the night sky, as if there were stars within them...

The women had perfect cheekbones and was pretty fit. Her eyes were icy blue, and she had platinum blonde hair. She was wearing an ice blue dress that sparkled. The dress was ankle length and after it hit the waist it started going slowly outwart from her body. The dress had a sweetheart neckline and elbow length sleaves. She had a snowy white fur cape that went to her knees.

The two figures smiled at me in my head.

Who are they?

I heard them, singing to me. Another distant memory pulls at me.

I saw myself as a baby. I was in a baby crib. Chaos and Khione were standing over me. My mom and dad. They... They started singing.

They pulled a blanket over my small body, and placed a pillow beneath my head.

"She's fast asleep." My mother - Khione -  whispered to my dad - Chaos. He smiled.

"We should probably get some sleep too." He said. My mom nodded and they left the baby me to sleep in peace.

I never forgot their voices... I never forgot the laluby they sang for me when I was just a child... I looked up at them.

"People say the first thing you forget about a person is their voice." I said.

"You can remember what there face, you can remember what they look like and what they are like, but you can't remember what they sound like." I continued beginning to slowly approach them.

"But I did." I said. "I never forgot your voices. I heard your voices every time I wanted to give up. I kept going because of your voices in my head, telling me it was going to get better." I said as warm tears threatened to fall.

I threw my arms around them and they returned the embrace.
