In the weeks that followed, Jun obediently stayed in a guest room as his injuries swiftly healed.

Even scars that he had had for a long time seemed to magically all disappear. Unknown to him it was due to the special medicine the villain had bought with her points.

Everyday Jun would quietly cooperate while watching the knights train outside his window, occasionally a few would even pass by and talk about their oaths as knights and such.

Meanwhile, all the staff were stunned beyond repair, each day they kept praying for the boys survival thinking that one day the demon princess would kill him.

Surprisingly, as each day passed their prayers seemed answered as the princess did nothing to hurt him, instead she attentively checked on him daily to see how his injuries were healing.

As the days passed the staff became a little braver as they got closer in order to observe the bizarre scene.

What they didn't know was that the boy was just as shocked, each day he expected to be kicked out, or treated harshly, but instead he was treated gently not only by the staff but also by the cold beauty.

When he had first fallen unconscious he felt surrounded by darkness, scared and alone, but then in the darkness he remembered being lifted up into warm gentle hands, then a familiar cold but gentle voice brought him out of the darkness and into a gentle warm light.

After waking up he had thought he had finally died and was able to rest, yet, instead he was fully alive.

When his eyes looked at cold beauty his first instinct had been to run, half of his soul was terrified, while the other part wanted to never part with the older girl.

The former part won as he immediately tried to leave, however, she was able to make him stay.

He had thought that she would look at him like everyone else, with anger, disgust, or annoyance. In all his life, he had only been seen with disdain, as though his mere existence was a nuisance.

Expecting her to act like everyone else, he was shocked when her eyes only showed indifference.

He was further shocked when she even went do far as to give him a name.

He couldn't use magic, he was weak, he truly felt useless as he lived on in darkness. Yet, for the first time in his life, he was given something that couldn't be stolen or broken...

A name.

Yes, she was truly different from everyone.

Although his soul still told him to run, his feet felt numb, he no longer felt capable of leaving.

(Yes, once again he had unknowingly been trapped.)

Lost in thought, he looked out the window to see the knights practicing hard as usual far off in the training grounds.

Suddenly he could sense an electrifying presence in the air, he unconsciously grew happy. Today again the beauty had come in to visit him.

"...It seems like all your injures have been healed." Sylvia emotionlessly spoke as she walked into the room.

" I guess now it is time for you to get this back..." Boldly Sylvia handed Jun his green jeweled ring.

As Jun received the item his heart suddenly started to rapidly beat.

He wasn't one bit happy.

His face paled as he looked up at Sylvia with a mix of confusion and nervousness, his mind began to wander.
