After Queen Sylvia died at the hands of Princess Mirabelle, the country of Dandar and Canta were outraged.

For once in its entire history the two nations allied in order to destroy Ofstan.

After one year of war led by Dandars King, the entire country of Ofstan was completely decimated. Refugees fled to the surrounding countries and became integrated with them.

As for Princess Mirabelle, soon after the poison attempt she was quickly caught and tried.

The King wanted her to hang but Prince Valentine pleaded on her behalf for her to live. So Dandars King agreed, allowing Princess Mirabelle to live a cosy life in prison... or so the public believed.

The King despised the one who took away his beloved, so instead Princess Mirabelle was forced to live underground in prison, lonely and tortured in her cell for the remainder of her life.

After Princess Mirabelle's capture, it was soon revealed how she got the poison, a few weeks prior she had received it from Prince Keefe while he had formerly escaped.

Realizing this fact, the prince was no longer sentenced to prison rather, for the first time in history, one of Dandars royals were forced to be publicly hanged. A death meant only for the worst types of criminals.

But the King was not quite satisfied, he would not let the prince off so easily, the weeks to follow his hanging the prince was secretly tortured.

Finally when his day came to hang, he was paraded in the streets as angry citizens threw stones.

It was a pathetic ending for the prince, yet still the King help no empathy, for he was broken.

As for Prince Valentine, Dandar's King quickly made full use of him, marrying him off to Canta's third Princess.

Once again the two countries, Dandar and Canta became aligned. Allowing the two nations to continue to form a strong alliance that would last many hundreds of years to come, fulfilling Sylvia's request to protect both their nations.

As for Dandars King, Jun, after Sylvia's death he no longer smiled as he became known as the Demon King of Dandar.

Although he was regarded as a good ruler, he was ruthless and cruel to those who he regarded his enemies.

All he wanted was the sweet relief of death, but because Sylvia had told him to protect both their nations, Dandar and Canta, he continued to live on in order to fulfill her wishes.

Even though it was improper for a King to cook, Jun continued to make every meal, perfecting his cooking and creation of sweets, never ceasing, as though doing so would somehow bring Sylvia back.

For after her death he grew insane, believing that Sylvia's death was his fault. It was because he stopped making meals for her that she became poisoned, or at least that's what his crazed mind believed.

Therefore, every day he would make lavish meals and go to the grand burial mausoleum only meant for the great Kings and Queens of Dandar, where Sylvia's body lay.

Every day he would place the food their in hopes that one day Sylvia would return, or at the very least, she would not eat others food in the afterlife.

In the many years that followed, he never stopped his strange acts, if anything, they only grew worse over the years.
