For the next few weeks Dandar and Canta were in a buzz over the new engagement announcement.

The recently appointed King was already announcing a wedding to his chosen princess. Not only that, but the supposed princess was the former demon princess, Sylvia, who recently had her past engagement annulled.

Everyone knew that she had helped in the crowning of the new King, so although the two's engagement was a surprise, it was also somewhat expected.

The people were just happy that their King was able to quickly find a spouse, even if it was from Dandar's number one enemy kingdom. Still, the fact that the princess had rescued their prince, now king, helped ease their hatred for the newly appointed bride.

Silently Princess Sylvia stared out her large bedroom window in Dandar.

After Sylvia agreed to marry Jun, he quickly made arrangements for her to move into the castle's largest room aside from the King's.

Although it wasn't tradition for the bride to be to stay in her spouse's home, Jun would not allow Sylvia to go back to her home country and instead dared anyone to defy his order for Sylvia to stay.

Furthermore, on top of living in a luxurious room, Jun supplied Sylvia with a handful of maids while also cooking food for her everyday.

Despite it being unorthodox for a king to cook, Jun still went ahead and did it, keeping to his promise while also firing anyone who pointed out that it was improper.

Thinking about Jun's kindness, Sylvia could not help but feel like she had tricked him. She was meant to die soon, it was unavoidable. Yet she had still said yes to Jun, promising to marry him.

She was the Villain, so she wasn't above lying, stealing, cheating, etc. But when it came to Jun, he had followed her for three lifetimes now, she didn't want to act villainous towards him.

Since he had agreed to follow her, she had subconsciously agreed to help him, giving him everything she could not have. Wealth, fame, longevity, love... That's why she had always tried to pair him up with the female leads, that way he could live a long happy life.

Yet, now... she had actually agreed to marry him...

She had gotten too close to him in this world.

She was setting him up to experience pain.

Back when he had asked her to marry him, she should have refused him, yet, looking into the man's anxious crazed eyes, she felt like she couldn't deny him.

Now she felt as though she couldn't run away, not in this world at least.

'Yes... Jun is a dangerous man, I must keep that in mind for the last world, or else I may lose my composure...' The Villain inwardly thought.

*Knock *Knock

Quickly the villain was pulled away from her thoughts as she heard familiar knocking at the door, instantly she knew it was Jun.

"Hello, my future queen." Jun walked in with a bright smile carrying a tray of food.

He was always smiling now, he seemed to be the happiest man in the world.

"Today I have brought something new that I think you will like, Chicken a la Maryland, Fresh Bread, as well as Chocolate & Vanilla Eclairs for desert." Happily Jun placed the food down in front of Sylvia.

The warm food steamed in the air while leaving a wonderful fragrant.

Seeing the food Sylvia should have felt pleased, however, instead she still felt a rare twinge of unease. Instantly Jun detected Sylvia's strange emotion as he lifted up her chin.

"What's wrong? Do you perhaps not like the food, if so I can bring something els-"

"Don't bring food anymore."

"...What-"

"Please don't make food for me anymore..." Sylvia didn't want to feel in debt to Jun by giving him false hope of marriage before dying, so instead she hoped that by making him stop cooking for her, it would help ease some of his burden and leave them less time to spend together.

"Did someone say something to you?... Or perhaps... you found another man to cook better food for you?" Instantly Jun's mood changed as he unconsciously released his dark powers creating a black aura.

"~Tell me... ~Who is this man?" Jun's voice was coaxing and ever gentle while his hand tapped the sword at his side...

He knew his princess was weak to food... To think, someone else had been making her meals on the side! His sword itched in his hand as he wondered who the man could be!

He thought he had been very careful in who approached her.

'Perhaps it was Prince Keefe, but he should be under trail right now so it couldn't be him. Maybe she had somehow met someone new...?' His eyes turned darker and darker by the second.

Sylvia saw Jun lost in thought so she spoke up. "You're wrong. There's no one else. Just please, please don't make me any more food. I...I will refuse to eat it." This time the Villain's eyes turned sharp showing how serious she was.

Jun suddenly felt great unease, like he was about to lose the only thing keeping him sane. Anxiously he reached out his arm grabbing Sylvia's hand as though to confirm her existence.

"...fine... but that doesn't mean you can go back on your promise. You still have to marry me, and stay with me forever!" The last part Jun spoke with an incredibly deep voice, his eyes swirling with a deep darkness even the villain couldn't understand.

Unknowingly Sylvia was taken in by Jun's words as she unconsciously shook her head in recognition.

"Good, then you better not go back on your promise..." Silently Jun keeled as though he were a knight swearing allegiance to his princess, then, still holding Sylvia's hand, he started seductively placing a cascade of kisses everywhere on her arm, as though marking it his, telling her she was not allowed to leave.

Blankly the villain looked on allowing Jun to do as he pleased, knowing that soon her time would be up.

*Desert Note: The last few chapters have been long, so I don't think I will post Monday.

Also the Villain may be a foodie, but she won't eat when she feels distressed, this also shows that Jun has (unconsciously) became an important person to her. (^ _-)
