In the years that followed Jun did learn how to use his magic, he was still scared of his powers, but with Sylvia by his side he no longer felt frightened.

Yes, he no longer feared the dark because he had a light.

Sylvia received the news that Prince Valentine was receiving a fiance, just as expected, it was Princess Mirabelle.

Even without the villain interfering, the plot was still strong and pushed the two together.

She didn't mind though, she still had plenty of time to mess everything up.

Sylvia also received a message from her fiance, it was to let her know he would be coming soon. Looking at the message, her cold eyes turned even colder.

"What's wrong?" Jun asked, coming in with concerned filled eyes.

Looking at him, Sylvia was a little surprised, the young boy she had rescued years ago was now developing into a handsome strong young man.

All the training he did helped develop his body to become chiseled and lean.

Recently he had also grown, although Sylvia had always been taller than the young boy, he now measured a few inches taller and was continuing to grow. Right now he was still only fifteen but he was already quite handsome.

"Nothing... It seems like soon I will be visited by my fiance..." Sylvia coldly looked down at the letter in her hands.

"Fian...ce...?" Jun looked up confused as his eyes started to swirl with darkness.

"Yes, as a princess it is my duty to have a fiance... For a long time now there has been great unrest between the nation of Canta and Dandar. In order to mend the damage, as the princess of Canta I have sworn to marry the first prince of Dandar in order to stop the eminent threat of war..." Sylvia spoke about the responsibility of her character, not that she had any intention of following through with it.

"Do you love him?" Jun smiled with closed eyes while his dark magic started to release forming a dark aura.

"What does that have to do-"

"Do you love him?" Jun persisted in asking sweetly while the darkness around him increased.

Sylvia shook her head. "...No."

"Good, then I will protect you." (AN: Translaton: "I won't let you marry him")

Sylvia didn't understand what Jun meant but let it slide as he went to go cook some food.

That night they enjoyed a delicious meal of freshly baked dinner roles paired with potatoes and and a side of steak.

In the following days, Prince Keefe finally arrived at the estate.

Arriving at the front gate, Princess Sylvia respectfully waited for him while Jun unhappily stood by her side.

She had wanted to keep Jun out of the lime light, after all she didn't want him to become involved in the fight for the crown, instead she would let him swoop in and claim it at the very end avoiding the drama . Still she had to allow Jun to be seen as he had stuck close to her all these years, if she were to suddenly excuse Jun on such an important occasion, it might lead to great suspicion among the onlookers.

The carriage pulled up.

"Hello Princess Sylvia." Prince Keefe walked out of his carriage. Quickly he kneeled and gently kissed Sylvia's hand as costumed.

Immediately Jun's dark eyes swirled at the action, because he was just a knight though he had no power to intervene.

"Hello to you too, First prince." Princess Sylvia coldly spoke.

"No need to be so formal, we are after all going to be husband and wife soon. King and Queen." Prince Keefe spoke, a hidden meaning in his words. Still Sylvia stood stiff not replying to his words.

"May I speak to you in private for a bit?" Prince Keefe ignorantly asked, for such things were not aloud, especially between future spouses.

Still, Sylvia obliged to the man's request as she nodded her head walking, suggesting him to follow.

Jun also started to follow closely behind the two before Sylvia turned to him.

"You stay here."

Jun stopped dead in his tracks.

"What-"

"Stay."Sylvia's voice resounded out painfully serious, conflicting Jun to continue standing still.

Jun's eyes slightly shook as Sylvia again started walking away without him.

He was being left behind while Sylvia went off with her fiance...

He didn't like it one bit!

He clenched his fists, he was still only a low level knight though, he needed to become at least a commander rank knight before he could openly pursue Sylvia.

For now it was only a master servant relationship. So he had to obey her direct orders.

Still, he didn't like it!
