Papa II HC - Child Found

Request: May I request some papa ii with a child he just found that was abandoned???

Answer:

- Papa II was on his way to the church, like usual every morning. But there was something on the doorstep this time. A small white rectangular box. Not only did he think it was odd that there was something so pure white anywhere near the church - but the box was crying. A soft wail, that he only heard when he was within twenty feet.

- He rushed over to find that it was not a box, but a small cradle, with a tiny brown eyed baby inside. What is this doing here? who left their baby on the church step? He'd only heard of such thing in story, and certainly not on a church of this ideology. He picked up the whole cradle, before thinking better and putting it back down, and picking up the baby straight out of it. Such a cold fall morning, he must be frozen, the poor child. The baby stopped crying as soon as he held it and wrapped the breast of his suit jacket around it.

- He shoved the doors of the church open with his back and rushed inside, holding the baby very very carefully, and went to the nearest sister. "When did you have a child, Papa?" "I didn't have a child, I just found it on the steps outside. It's cradle is still there if you don't believe me. Who would do such a thing?" She looked shocked, and went to inspect for herself, bringing back the cradle. "Come with me." He followed her with the small child in his arms, to where the rest of the congregation was. Instantly one of the women went to take the baby from him, but he pulled away. "I found him, I'll care for him"

- All day instead of his usual work he dealt with the baby. Changing it's diapers with ones he found in the storage closet (turns out, it's a girl), feeding it crushed up human food. He was so distraught that someone could do something to someone so small. He brushed off anyone who tried to help or tell him how to care for the baby, already protective

- From then on, with no mother returning to claim the baby after two weeks (he wouldn't have given it back anyways, not to someone who left it on the front steps of a church so heartlessly) he decided the baby girl was his. He cleared a part of his home office to be a baby nursery, went to the baby supply store and picked up everything he could possibly need, and things he might not need but thought she would like. He bought parenting books, but upon reading a few pages decided it should mostly be common sense and that he didn't need a book to tell him how to raise a child. He brought her to the doctor to make sure she was alright thought, once a month. Although he never planned on having children without being married, and certainly not through finding her left outside in the cold, he was happy to be a dad
