"So how's my accountant?" Sky asked me when he fetched me from work.

Yes, I made it. I am now a Certified Public Accountant. It was hard for me to strive but I made my Kuya an inspiration to me. He wants me to be a CPA at alam kong doon lang ako makakabawi sa kan'ya.

5 years had passed and I still can't believe that he died. Hindi pa ako maniniwala kung hindi nakita ng dalawang mata ko ang bangkay niya. Tita Cecil told me na bago tumigil ang heartbeat niya, ang album naming dalawa ang tinitingnan niya.

He died while looking at our pictures.

"Ito, maganda pa rin," nang-aasar kong sagot sa kaniya.

I have been through a lot pero lahat nang 'yon ay nalagpasan ko. The whole third year, I was crying because of my situations. The next year, I cried because I want to achieve my dream. Then no'ng natapos ko na, I cried again because of tears of joy.

That was the last time I cried. Iniyak ko na ang lahat. Hindi na mababago no'n ang nakaraan. Walang mababago kung iiyak-iyak lang ako.

And Sky came back. Nang makauwi ako rito galing London dahil doon inilibing si Kuya, I saw him accidentally in Middle V and he told me that he doesn't like Kaye anymore. Doon din kami naging magkaibigan. He was there for the whole five years. Siya ang naging takbuhan ko.

"Want to eat somewhere?" He asked while playing his car's key.

"Basta libre," I said in a low voice.

I am happy now. I did everything to move-on, and I am really glad that I did. Never waste your time trying to convince someone else of your worth, if he can't see it, then they are not worth the effort. I gave up because it's the last thing that I can do in our relationship. If he can't keep me, hindi ako ang nawalan.

The beautiful thing about the ones who truly love us is that they always see our worth, but in Achaicus' case? Napailing na lamang ako. Wala akong mapapala kung iisipin ko lang siya. Hindi pa rin ako nakakahanap nang ipapalit sa kaniya, maybe he really did a great job, to the point na nawalan na ako ng tiwala sa mga tao.

Our break-up scene is our last moment. After that night, I changed my sim at ilang araw lang no'n ay lumipad kaming papuntang England. Nang makabalik kami, wala na akong balita sa kan'ya. I'm thankful 'coz he did me a good favor sa paraang 'yon.

"You look tired. Do you still want to eat somewhere? Or what if sa condo mo na lang tayo, tapos ako na lang magluluto so that you can take your rest while waiting for me," nag-aalala niyang saad.

"What are you talking about? Let's go. Kakain tayo sa labas and I'm not tired."

I smiled to assure him that I am really not tired. Sky is really a good friend. He did not leave me even though, naaabala ko na siya noon. He was there when I was really down. And'yan siya noong pati sarili ko, tinalikuran ako.

He sighed, "okay, fine."

Time flies fast. He brought me somewhere near in BGC. Sinabi kong huwag niya akong dadalhin sa mga mahal na restaurant pero ang tigas talaga ng ulo niya. Hinilot ko ang aking sentido at matalim siyang tinitigan.

"Don't worry about it, okay? This is my treat for you because I got a big project this year!" Nakangiti niyang anunsyo sa akin.

He is an engineer. Mas'yadong hectic ang schedule niya pero nagagawan pa rin niya ng paraan para makipagkita sa akin. I appreciate him a lot. Hindi niya kailangang gawin pero ginagawa pa rin niya. I can't say 'no' to him because he is just so stubborn.
