"This-stupid, egg!" Cedric stresses out at the end Kathy's bed, while Kathy was completely homework and Penelope was organising her paints.
"Do you know what think ced?" Penelope asked, causing Cedric's head to shoot in her direction. "I think you need to leave that bloody thing alone!"
Cedric let out a small huff before collapsing backwards on Penelope's bed, "Penelope, I don't know what to do!"
"Quit whining for one!" Penelope scoffed, before taking her paints away from his form that now filled her bed.
Kathy hummed in amusement at the conversation, but ignored them as she tried to continue the work.
"So, who's everyone asking to the Yule ball?" Cedric asked sheepishly.
"Me myself and I" Penelope snorted out loud, causing Kathy to let a small smile escape her lips.
"Seriously though" Cedric deepened, sitting up to show her a stern look he wore.
"I am always serious" Penelope joked, before placing her paints back in her trunk and shoving it under her bed.
"Well, what about you whiskers?" Kathy spoke up, causing Penelope to flash her a thankful grin.
"I-erm, I was going to ask Cho" Cedric blushed, Penelope rolled her eyes as Kathy frowned.
It wasn't a hidden secret that Cho Chang never fully expressed an interest in him until the tri-wizard champions had been picked, she just hid behind that shy mask of hers.
Without another word, Kathy let Penelope take the steering wheel.
"You know she only likes you because you're a champion, right?" Penelope sneered, "I mean if you think about it carefully, she never spoke to you until the dragon task"
"How would you know? You were ignoring me" Cedric shot back, clenching his jaw in somewhat anger.
"Because you hurt my feelings and was being selfish!" Penelope segued, and Kathy inwardly groaned at the root of this 'discussion'
"How about I'll be selfish now too then?!" Cedric shouted at her, he picked up his jacket and left the room with a slam of the door.
Kathy grimaced before rolling off her bed and planting her feet to the ground.
"Must you two always argue?" She raised an eyebrow at the seething witch in the room.
"We wouldn't have to if he'd just open his fucking eyes!" Penelope cursed out, "she is clearly only-"
"I know!" Kathy cut her off, "but you should talk it out like normal people and not be screaming at each other"
"But-"
"Yes, he acted selfish, but you really ought to be the bigger person and show him that his quote relationship un-quote with Cho is, is completely wrong!" Kathy reasoned with the girl, she had calmed down from before and her lips tugged into a smirk.
"Did you just say 'quote' and 'un-quote' ?" She snickered.
Kathy picked up one of her knitted pillows and chucked it at the girl in slight annoyance, Penelope returned the anger with a laugh.
