01: Aftermath

Jimin hated mornings, he always did. He dreaded those sunrays seeping through the curtains and blinding him, illumimating his dark, dull, and messy room.

He hated mornings. Especially when he's reminded everyday about that one particular morning which he wish he could forget.

So yes, he hated mornings. And having an eccentric ball of sunshine walking beside you on the way to school clearly doesn't help at all.

"Could you believe it Jimin? It's our 2nd year of High School!" the said ball of sunshine exclaimed excitedly.

Jimin scowls. It was 6:30 in the morning, and his bestfriend is already hyper.

"Don't be like that Jimin, you're looking like an old geezer," his bestfriend stated again and Jimin noticed the lack of honorifics just now.

He was about to scold the younger when a familiar house not too far away caught his eyes. Jimin's heart skips a beat, and his scowl just turn deeper.

Jimin knows who that house belongs to. It belongs to none other than his now least favorite person. Jimin sighs and continues to walk, ignoring his bestfriend's excited squeels.

"I don't get it why you're being grumpy in the morning," his bestfriend says while trailing behind him.

"oh i do Taehyung," Jimin answered flatly, and adjusts the strap of his bag. "It's not as if i have a boyfriend waiting for me at school," he added and took a glance at his bestfriend who is currently adjusting his jacket while walking.

Taehyung, in Jimin's eyes, looked like a walking model. He was wearing a simple black shirt tucked inside his ripped jeans - which is also black - and a leather jacket.

He looks so stunning even with the effortless look and Jimin isn't even surprised.
