Calum: Both your legs were wrapped around Calum, his hands going over your exposed skin. Sweet kisses were shared with the sound of MTV’s music on the background. As the last song stopped and the channel changed from music to programs, one of your favorite shows came up as the intro caught Calum’s attention. “Babe, our show is on.” He said as you kissed his neck multiple times. “Oh yeah.” You noticed, looking sideways. “It’s the new ep, wanna watch it?” “Sure.” As you climbed off of Cal, you noticed that you really didn’t mind to put off love making for a show. As you both cuddled up together with drinks and snacks, you sort of noticed Calum wasn’t laughing at the show like he used to, instead kept throwing glances your way. He took the remote and muted it. “Calum, what the hell?” You glared. “I just realized something.” His face was dark, and sad. “Haven’t you noticed ‘us’ lately?” He said, hoping you would do the talking. You knew exactly was he was talking about, you had felt it all those times before. But you weren’t gonna say it first, if it could make him mad, you didn’t want to be the bad guy in this story. “Us?” “(Y/N), don’t get mad at me but I feel like we’ve been living like friends rather than partners.” “I sorta noticed that too yeah, maybe our relationship ran its course or something.” “If you think about it, it’s a full circle. Friends, lovers now back to friends. When was the last time we had sex anyway?” “A very long time ago.” You admitted. “And we both don’t even care about that, do we? Just like what happened a few minutes ago.”  “So what do you suppose we do? Break up?” You asked. You watched Calum think. “Go back to being best friends again.” Calum proposed. “Best friends.” You smiled half-heartedly, going in for a hug. You were going to miss the interaction that you don’t get with being friends, but this was for the best and you both knew it.

Ashton: “I’m leaving tomorrow, babe.” Ashton said to you. You were lying in bed, trying to stay awake as long as possible to enjoy each other’s company for the last time. “Mhm.” You’ve been struggling with the idea of Ashton leaving you, and meeting all the other amazing girls in the world. He’d never cheat on you, you were sure, but making him leave with nothing to hold onto for a year seemed tough. It seemed selfish. “Ashton, I have to tell you something.” “What is it?” He asked dreamily. “I think we should break up.” Ashton shot up, taking you with him looking at you with big eyes. “W-what? Where is this coming from? Did I do something wrong?” You put your hands on his cheeks and shushed him. “Ssh. Let me finish.” You made sure he was looking into your eyes before you continued. “I love you. You know that. What I mean is that, it seems too selfish to let you go and think you’re tied down to me while meeting wonderful people all around the world.” “But I am tied to you, you’re my world.” Ashton tried to change your mind but it was set. “And you’re mine. But I can’t let you do this. I don’t want to be the reason you’re unhappy on tour, so what I’m trying to say is; let’s save this, what we have, for later you know?” He searched your eyes, his brain working to try and figure it out. “Save it for later. You’re free on tour, you can do anything you want and when you come back we’ll see how it is.” “That sounds risky, I don’t want to lose you.” “Ashton, you won’t, I’ll be right here.” A gentle silence fell in between you. “Save it for later.” He said, nodding to himself. “If that’s what makes you happy, then I will.”

Luke: “You’re in love.” You asked Luke, sitting in a quiet little place. “But with someone else.” You whispered, the tears stinging behind your eyes. Luke swallowed loudly and was too scared to meet your eyes. “I’m sorry (y/n), I never meant for this to happen. We started talking and just suddenly I have all these feelings. I still lo-“ “Just stop it there Luke” You replied, your voice thick with tears. Taking a few deep breaths you managed to ask. “Did anything happen.. that I don’t know or want to know about?” You asked, too scared for the answer but wanting the truth anyway. “We kissed.” Luke replied quietly, and you felt your heart break to pieces. You were sure that the whole block could’ve heard the crack that broke your heart. “Is that all?”  The room started spinning when you met his eyes and saw him shake his head. You grabbed your chest, trying to catch your breath but it was too hard. You stood up, feeling as if you were about to faint, but all you thought about was going home. As you stalked your way home with Luke right behind you, only thing on your mind was to keep it together, that the only moment you were allowed to break down was when the door closed behind you. Once inside, you fell to the ground crying your eyes out, with Luke coming in seconds after you, standing there awkwardly. “L-leave, just leave.” You sobbed. “I don’t wanna see or hear you anymore.” You cried loudly, Luke frozen in the spot. He wanted to leave but not like this. Although there was nothing to explain, knowing what he had done was unforgivable, seeing you like this made him realize the biggest mistake of his life. He reached out to you, touching you for one second only to get a slap across his face. “LEAVE!” You yelled, getting up, pushing him right out the door, locking it behind him. You didn’t leave that spot for hours, trying to console yourself but what you didn’t know was that Luke was on the other side of the door, not leaving his spot either, being a broken man himself.

Michael: Your head’s pressed against the wall as the tears stream down your face. Michael stood in the middle of the room, his hands balled up in fists as the air was thick of the hurtful words you used against each other. “We should take a break.” Michael said, the exact words you knew were coming but you didn’t want to hear. You tried to calm your crying until they were mere sobs and looked his way with blurry eyesight. He didn’t look at you, his flustered face staring down the carpet. “This is it then.” You said. Michael was home from tour a few weeks now, but when you finally met him face to face again, you couldn’t shake the feeling he had changed. You’ve been having these feelings over skype as well, as if he was dissociating himself from you. You had been trying to shake the feeling until this exact moment when you couldn’t take it anymore. “A break is just a pre break up. Might as well break up immediately.” “Suppose.” Michael replied, his eyes still burning a hole into the beige carpet. With a heavy heart you got up, packed the few things you kept at Michael’s house just in case and put them in a bag. You walked up to the door and turned around hoping he’d catch your eye and tell you not to go. But he didn’t. You wanted to say something but no good things came to mind so you left without a sound. As soon as the door closed behind you, Michael held his hands in front of his face, catching the teardrops in his palms.
