ARTHUR'S P.O.V

It was only 8 in the morning when I touched down in London. I managed to get an early flight and currently on the way to the hospital. I have Mark, my secretary, to represent me at the meeting in Frankfurt.

I rushed to where Thea's room is as soon as I arrived in the hospital. I spotted Felix sitting on the chair outside the room with Jane.

"How is she?"

"She is resting inside, Sir"

"Thank you, Felix" I nodded at him then walked in the room. Searching for the person, I found her laying on the bed. The first thing I saw was the band aid on her temple.

I walked further until I stood beside her bed. My heart crushed as I saw the bruised on her left cheek, I brought my hand and carefully caressing her bruised cheek. It pains me to see her state. I was not there to protect her, I left her for 2 days and this is what happened.

I can't even imagine the worst scenario that could have happened, and it scares me. It scares me a lot that I could have lost her. It scares me to lose her.

Scratch that. I can't lose her. She has been an important person in my life right now, and I don't even want to imagine a life without her in it.

Sitting on the chair beside her bed, I took her right hand in me and kissed it. "You scared me, Thea"

I'm awared that she couldn't listen to me right now, but I want her to know that I'm glad that she is stable. I'm glad that she is okay, despite the state she is in right now.

I heard the door crack opened behind me. The nurse walked in with an IV fluids.

"Hi, I just need to change her IV bag" the nurse announced as she stood on the left side of the bed. I nodded in response and she did what she needed to do.

"Can I talk to the doctor please?" I asked once she finished.

"Sure. I will let the doctor know that you are here"

After thanking her, she left the room and I turned to look at my wife once again. I still don't know what had happened that lead her into the accident. The last time I talked to her on the phone is when she went out with her friend.

The door opened once again and the doctor walked in in her white coat. "Hello, I'm doctor Edith Swinton"

"Hi, I'm Arthur Williams," I shook her hand. "Is my wife okay?"

"Your wife is okay, she hit her head in the process so she might get headaches sometimes, but it's nothing serious. She also sprained her left foot so she should not walk on her own too much. Other than that she should be okay"

I let out a relief sigh to hear that. "When will she be able to come home?"

"She will have to stay for another night, just so I can monitor her condition. We will see if she is stable enough to go home tomorrow"

Nodding my head, I thanked her. "Thank you so much, doc"

She left after that, leaving me alone in the room with my sleeping wife. Letting out a sigh, I rested my head on the left side of the bed. I let my eyes rest by letting them closed. I was still tired from the flight and from the news of my wife. I'm awared that the doctor said that Thea is okay and stable now but I want her to wake up and tell me that she is okay.

I must have fallen asleep because something stirred beside me, opening my eyes I saw Thea moving her head. I sat up and held her hand, waiting for her to open her eyes. Suddenly she winced in pain in the process, making me worried.
