It's a quiet night.

There are no college students walking around the vast area of the campus at this time; there are only the professors staying late inside of their classrooms, packing their materials they've used throughout their long and exhausting day at work dealing with uncontrollable college students who had little to no respect of their higher ups since the semester was almost over.

Professor Han sighs dramatically, stretching his back until he hears that satisfying "pop" from his spine bones.

He exits out of his room, looking back one final time to make sure he didn't leave anything, and turned off the lights as well as locking the classroom door. His heavy case dangled at his wrists tightly, causing the blood flow of his arms to strain. He curses underneath his breath before fixing his case and looking up to see a familiar hooded figure sitting casually at the edge of the road, dozing off silently.

"Mr. Jeon," Professor Han calls out his name, but the actor didn't budge as he was paying no less regard to his surroundings.

"It's getting late and the campus is closing soon," Professor Han stated, his tone louder than his previous one to gain Jungkook's attention. He bit his chapped lips into a thin line, proceeding to pat Jungkook's shoulders when he was at his reach and left him to ponder whatever the hell he was thinking about. Professor Han though, stopped when he was just six feet away as the need to look back at his student took over his senses. He turns his head to the side, seeing Jungkook's wearied posture, bloodied knuckles, and bruised face. "Jesus Christ Mr. Jeon, has a train wrecked you?!"

Jungkook however didn't have the strength to muster any coherent words and only shook his head while forcing a painful smile to let his professor know that he wasn't dead, yet.

"Well boy, don't just sit there and go to the hospital!" Professor Han shouted, gesturing the boy to come with him by flaying his arms. Jungkook looks at him with a blank face, signaling him he won't be getting up anytime soon since his legs felt numb from the hours of walking mindlessly at strange places he never knew existed.

As Professor Han saw no progression of trying to convince Jungkook to get up and go to the hospital, he dragged his beaten student back to his classroom where an essential first-aid kit rested inside of his desk drawer.

"Why in all places come here?"

"You're the only person I really know other than my close friend Taehyung, my manager, and (Y/N)..." he says solemnly. "I-I have no other friends, Jaesuk."

Jaesuk took a few steps backwards from Jungkook's heartbreaking statement. It's true. He had never seen Jungkook hang out with people around his age other than (Y/N) and Taehyung who occasionally drops by to pick him up. He'd known Jungkook for quite some time now, and seeing this new side of him sparked a kind of excitement from the aging professor who deals with raging twins and an
angry yet lovable wife. Jaesuk believes that what Jungkook is going through as an actor is draining him a chance of life where he could make any dumb and stupid mistakes without the public criticizing and following him wherever he goes.

"I might be your professor during the day but I can be your friend at night," Jaesuk replied with a smile.

"Thank you..." said Jungkook. He drops his chin on his chest, fighting the urge from crying.

Jaesuk grabbed a swab to cleanse Jungkook's bruised cheeks and lips, making the male hiss from the stinging of the antibiotics.
