Life, they say, is ironically combined with fifty percent of sadness and the rest are filled with a mixture of happiness, excitement, fear, cowardice and regrets. Well, it does made sense for me when I experience my greatest downfall after missing an opportunity.

Another year has come, everyone is excited to end the semester. One more week and we are going to be exam free. Quizzes? Presentations? Orals? These are just one of the students' most hated part in studying.

I am looking at my classmates getting busy—shouting, borrowing notes, comparing answers, name it—while facing their journals, ledgers and worksheets. Before I almost forgot, I am taking up Accountancy, Business and Management as my preparatory for my degree in college. I somewhat love the calculations nonetheless, I love words and figures the most. If there is one thing in my life I am proud of having, it is my skills in writing. I honed it after realizing, this is the passion I am looking for. I am not good in singing nor in dancing but I totally make sense when it comes to an essay, debates and poem writing—not to brag anyway.

I let out an exasperated sigh and put my earphones on. I'm done answering my take home quiz—from journals down to the worksheet—I can't understand bakit ngayon pa nila sinasagutan ang quiz na 'yon. Are they even doing something at home? Well, I can't blame them rin naman since Accounting is really a pain in the ass. It will take you three good hours—mininum—to finish and solve a single problem.

I am a night sleeper
But I am heavy dreamer
My imagination gives me wings
And I can go anywh

She's smiling at me and she then wiggled her brows as if she's implying something.

I rolled my eyes, "what?"

"Saan?" I faced her after kong maitago sa bag ko ang earphones.

"Cafeteria. Duh." She then rolled her eyes at tumayo.

"Sama!" "Oops, I'm sorry, Mel."

She just smiled a little and nodded her head then hinarap niya ulit ang worksheet niya.

Nice, malapit na siyang matapos.

Hinanap ko kung nasaan na si Lorraine and I saw her with the others. Nasa hallway na sila and they're all looking at me.

"Let's go?" I showed them my cheeky grin and I saw Lorraine shook her head.

"Tingnan mo 'to. Kung kanina lang nilapitan kita ang sungit-sungit mo. Pero ngayon, narinig mo lang ang salitang 'cafeteria' ang sigla mo na. Para ka talagang tanga Sabrina." She barked at agad naman siyang naglakad papalayo.

I looked at her and I just laugh on her remarks.

"Sabrina and her shits, right, Lorraine?"

I followed them.

"Uh-huh. Bipolar. Sarap iwanan eh." I heard her murmured so I immediately laugh sardonically.

"C'mon, Lorraine! You still love me!"

I followed her while Christine is also tailing me. We are all laughing dahil sa ka-artehan ni Lorraine and I immediately stop laughing when I saw some of the grade twelves spending their vacant time on their corridor.
