"From the news chopper to the studio— I'm reporting live from the skies of Hosu City! I'm reporting on a different story, but look at this! There is fire and smoke rising from different locations on the streets. Are these from accidents, or from rioting villains? We are not getting any information about any of this. I will report as soon as I know the situation!"

I sat in front of the television, cross-legged on the couch.

"That was a live clip from a reporter stationed in Hosu City. And— it seems that they're coming back on."

The studio disappeared from the screen, and a dark view of Hosu's skyline appeared, lit by the light of the fire, which highlighted the dense clouds of smoke that were forming above.

"What is that...?"

"Where?"

"Over there. By the water tank on top of the highest building. Can you get it?"

The camera zoomed in on the area the lady described. "There are people. Two of them!"

"Curious onlookers?"

On top of a building? When the air was filled with smoke? I doubted that.

"In a place like that?"

Then they disappeared into a familiar cloud of purple mist, and I realized who they must be.

The League of Villains.

My blood ran cold.

Who did I know that was in Hosu?

Iida.

We weren't that close but... what if he got hurt?

What if he was already hurt?

I heard the sound of a key in the front door, and I hurriedly turned off the TV and went to bed.

Endeavour managed to capture the hero killer? He saved Iida, Midoriya, and Todoroki? I didn't buy it for one second —they could fend for themselves in a fight— but I didn't have any solid proof.

There had been the notification from when Midoriya sent his location, but I had had my 'do not disturb' on, and hadn't seen it at the time.

But that wasn't proper evidence. It just proved he was there.

So I let it be.

It was the only thing on my mind as I arrived at the agency.

I mindlessly did what I was told, and halfway through the day, Ms. Joke must've decided she was sick of it.

"Call them."

"What?"

"Oh, come on, don't be dense! Call them. I know you want to." She nodded her head to the hall. "Take as long as you need."

"Thank you."

"It's no problem!" She grinned.

I went out into the hall, and dialed Midoriya.

It rang a couple times, before going to voicemail.

I tried again.

The same result.

I decided to wait, and after a few minutes, he called me back.

"(L-(L/N)?"

"Hey Midoriya. How are you doing?"

"I-I'm fine."

"You sure?"

"H-heh, yeah, all good. Just broke my leg."
