"chee, put me down!" i shout.
richie continues to carry me around the house. i love days like these where it's just richie and i since maggie is working. most of the time we just run around the house anyways.
"and why should i?" richie teases.
"because i need my inhaler, fuck nut!" i exclaim.
richie throws me down on my bed and i reach for my inhaler. i lay my head on richies chest and i look up at him.
"well, hello there," richie laughs.
"hi, babe," i reply innocently.
"has anyone told you that you're adorable?"
i blush and i sit up.
"i'm bored," i state.
"can i tell you something?" richie asks
"sure," i respond.
"when we're older, i think i want us to move out of derry. still close so we're within 30 minutes of everyone, but i don't want our kids growing up in a town where the kids in his or her class call their dads fags," richie admits.
"yeah, maybe bangor?" i suggest.
"yeah. what do you think we will name our kids?"
"idk i was thinking conner for a boy," i tell richie.
"if we have a girl, can we name her after my mom?" richie questions.
"of course, bub. she's more of a mom to me than my real mother ever was," i state.
"okay how about conner micheal or finley william for boys? and margaret marie?" richie suggests.
"perfect, what about their last name though? are we hyphenating or?" i ask.
"i personally don't wanna hyphenate. if you want to, you can," richie says.
"then who's name?"
"tozier," we say at the same time.
even though our future is far off, i'm ready to face the struggles with my soulmate.
