"richie, i would love to marry you, but we're too young. if i could marry you i would," eddie explains.
"i know, i just thought maybe there was a chance. eddie, i love you so so much. i wanna marry you right now," i mutter.
"richie, i love you too. i wanna marry you right now, but we're 14. it's illegal."
"i know, i'm sorry," i whisper.
i start to cry again, maybe a little part of me thought eddie and i could get married.
"hey, don't be sorry. come in my sleeping bag," eddie tells me.
i climb into eddies sleeping bag and he kisses me.
"richie, look at me," eddie orders.
i listen to eddie and he smiles.
"just because i said we couldn't get married right now, doesn't mean i don't want to get married when we're older."
