Zoom Call

After you're done with lunch you go back to your room. Ali comes and plops on the bed.
"So? What's up?" She says.
"Nothing just getting nervous. We have like a hour before my zoom call and what if he doesn't like what he sees?"
"He messages you last night and says you were hella cute!" She says pushing your shoulder.
"Yeah but, filters, I live for those things." You say laughing.
"Well too late now. Either he Che gets his mind and only likes you in picture or he likes you without the filters too and, wam, bam, thank you ma'am." She says laughing.
"Really?" You say rolling your eyes and letting out a giggle.
"Yep. Really." She says giving you a cheesy smile.
"You're a nerd."
"But you love me!"she says shaking her shoulders at you.
"Yes, yes I do." You say.

You guys sit and chit chat about her zoom call with Tristan to help pass the time before your zoom call.
"T minus 5 minutes!" Ali yells.
"Oh my god. I'm freaking out." You say jumping off the bed and start pacing the room.
"Chill, chill, keep it cool." Ali says sitting on her knees on the bed.
"Ali- I cant. I can't do this."

Incoming Zoom Call

"No! He's early!" You yell as you start to freak out more.

Ali grabs your phone and answers the zoom call.
She throws the phone at you and you drop it on the floor. You both look at each other and you hurry up and grab the phone off the floor.

"H-Hey Chris." You say dragging the ending of the first word out.
You hear him chuckle and your heart melts.
"Hey (your name)."
You stare at the phone and you can feel your cheeks heating up.
"Nervous?" He asks and lets out a chuckle.
"Very." You say laughing.
"Don't be, it's all good. We're just vibing." He says as he smiles into the phone.
"Okay." You say biting your bottom lip.
He raises his eyebrow and gets closer to the screen.
"What is that I see you doing?"
"Uhh-" you can't find the words.
"If that's what you look like watching the red room I think I need you on zoom more often." He says giving a wink into the camera.
"Oh my god!" You shriek and cover your face.
"What? I'm just saying. That's hot." He says smiling.
"You're going to make me blush more then I already am!" You say smiling.
"Okay okay, sorry. But you do have a beautiful smile."
"Chris!" You say putting your hand over your face.
"Alright I'll stop." He says winking one more time.
You roll your eyes at him and can't help but smile.

The rest of your zoom call with Chris goes smoothly. You guys just talk and ask questions, you imagine this is what all of his zoom calls are like so don't read too much into it.

"Well sadly our time is up and I have another zoom right after you." He says slightly poking out his bottom lip.
You giggle a little bit, "alright, well it was good talking to you." You say as you smile into the camera.
"Don't worry, be expecting another message from me cutie." He says and winks again.
"Oh- Uhh- okay." You say and realize you started biting your bottom lip again.
"Talk to you later." He says.
"Bye." You say smiling and slightly shaking your head.

The zoom call ends and you set your phone down on your desk.

"WHAT IN THE ACTUAL-" Ali screams from the bed.
"What?" You say laughing.
"You guys were so flirting with each other!" She yells.
"We were not!" You say rolling your eyes.
"Oh yeah, he thinks your cute." She says poking the air.
"Okay okay! Shut up." You say covering your face.
"Just wow." She says again.
"Alright, now what?" You ask trying to change the subject.
"I don't know? Go walk the strip?" Ali suggests.
"Perfect." You say standing up and gathering your things.
