My Eyes Adore You

It's Monday!

When you wake in the morning your phone is still on your bed and when you unlock it you're still on the "Live Ended" screen. You quickly go to your messages and see Chris texted you.

Chris😍:
Hey, where'd you go?

The lives done.

Are you okay?

I'm sorry if I did something to make
you upset.

You read the messages and instantly feel bad. Even though it's only 5 in the morning for him you still text him.

You:
Hey, I am SO sorry! I fell asleep while
watching the live! I guess my tiredness
finally caught up with me! I'm not mad
at you! And hopefully you're not mad at
me. 🥺 I hope you had an awesome live
though! 😘

You send the message and see if Ali is awake. She's in the kitchen sitting at the counter drinking coffee and writing. She's an up and coming author. She doesn't let you read her stuff until it's finished, so when she's in the zone you just let her be.

You grab a cup and pour yourself some coffee and grab your laptop to do some work. You're lucky enough to do your work from home, you just have to go into the office once a month for a meeting. Which is nice because you can make your own hours and basically do little or a lot at a time.

You're about done with the work you had planned for today when your phone buzzes. You quickly check the time and it's noon.

Chris😍:
Oh, it's okay cutie. You need to sleep
more anyways. I've told you that you
don't have to stay awake every night.
I'm glad you got some sleep! 🥰 also
the live was pretty good, just a typical
live. Dancing, singing, joking around.

You:
Well good! I'm glad you had a good
night! Also, good morning sunshine!

Chris😍:
You are so damn cute! 🥰
Good morning to you too!
I really hope you're ready for
tonight. I know I am!

You look at the calendar, it's Monday. It's your zoom date with Chris tonight! How could you have forgotten?!

You:
Oh, don't get me wrong I am VERY
excited. But I am also super nervous!

Chris😍:
Why are you nervous?
We have talked on zoom
before. 😂

You:
Yeah I know, but I don't know
I'm still nervous. There's a higher
expectation for tonight. 😂

Chris😍:
No, no expectations! I promise!
I just wanted to talk to you one
on one again, and figured why not
make it a date and be cute about it.
Please don't overthink it. We don't
even have to call it a date anymore.

You:
Okay, I won't completely freak out!
But I'm still going to be nervous!

Chris😍:
Well if you're nervous, then I'm
nervous too. 😉

You:
Oh stop, you go live in front of
hundreds of people every night
you don't get nervous!

Chris😍:
Actually you're wrong, I do
still get nervous, I just hide
it really well. Not going
to lie I was nervous for our
zoom call.

You:
What?! Why?

Chris😍:
We can talk about that tonight.

You:
Rude!

Chris😍:
I'm sorry.

You:
It's alright.
I hope you're having a good day!

Chris😍:
Talking to you always helps me
have a good day. 🥰

You:
Oh stop! You are too cute.
Gonna make me get in my feels
about you. 😂

Chris😍:

You:
Oh, definitely good. 😘

You and Chris go back and forth for a little bit and then he had to go and do some business stuff with Zach so he couldn't text you. Which gave you the time to finish your work and start to get ready for your zoom date tonight.
