Chapter 18

I added another Barb edit at the top, that one is Beautiful, but it doesn't give me Life like the other one Did

(Also, The Reason I've been gone for so long[like... A week] is because I was Rewatching Beastars and Wrote down some Parts in it that I could Potentially Reference in the Future so, ;) )
Also, this chapter doesn't contain Y/n and Creek going out, It's mostly just Barb and Creek meeting for the First Time.
THE NEXT CHAPTER, HOWEVER—

You woke up from another Weird Dream about those Troll things. And, Although it was Fresh in your Mind when you Woke up, You quickly forgotten about it Three Seconds later. Which was Stupid, and you didn't know how a Human Brain could do that, but oh well. You got up and Checked the Time. It was still Early, and you didn't have anything to do since it was the Weekend and you didn't have Classes. You groaned and Flopped back down onto your Bed, noticing that you still had your Glowstick Bracelets On your Wrists. You also had your Crown around your Neck. You took those off and Set them on your Bedside Table. You Flopped your Head back onto your Pillow and instantly got tired again.

You woke up later in the Day and decided to get Ready for your Date. You put on a White Summer Dress and some Sneakers. Right when you where about to leave, Suki had asked you where you where going, and You simply replied with 'Out', and She didn't really Question that. It WAS a Saturday after all, So there where No Classes, which is a perfect time to get off Campus for a While. She probably had some Plans too, but that was None of your Business, so you didn't really Ask. When you where about Halfway down the Hall, You heard Rushed Footsteps coming Your way, Which made you Stop and Turn around.

Barb stopped running and leaned over, resting her hands on her knees. " Hey!" She wheezed out, looking at you, because now that she's leaning over, she's about Your height. Don't know if this was Mentioned Before, But Barb is a whole Foot Taller than you, so. " Hi Barb..... Are you still in Pajamas?" You asked, Noticing that she was Wearing Plaid Shorts and a Black T-shirt with a Skull on it. She looked down at her Clothes and Stood up. " Yeah." She replied, No Embarrassment in her Voice what-so-ever. You shook your Head Playfully and continued walking, Barb following after you like a Lost Puppy. " So, Where you going?" " Out. I'm supposed to be meeting someone outside on the Campus." " Oh, So.... You're going on a date?" She asked, Sounding a Bit Confused and like she was on the Verge of a Breakdown. " Kinda, We're just going out for Coffee. I don't know what else could Happen." " Huh.." Barb kind of slowed down after that, trailing behind you, before she Caught back up to you. " Well, As your Friend," She growled, like she Despised that Word, before Continuing. " I should meet this Person so I can make sure that They're of Top Quality to Go out with You." You're eyes widened and looked at her. " Are you White Knighting Me?" Barb pressed her lips into a Thin Line While you both walked into the Elevator, You pressing the Button for the First Floor while she Leaned against the Corner of the Elevators. " Maybe..? I dunno what White Knighting is, Soo..." Was her Reply, shrugging her shoulders. You stared at her, Narrowing your Eyes a little. " Mm-hm, Sure-" You cut yourself off when the Elevator Jolted to a Start, Making you Step back and Grab onto the little Railing thing behind you, making Barb snicker. Your heart Fluttered a little when she snickered, and made your Face heat up.

Don't get me Wrong, You still have a Thing for Barb, But you also Kinda like Creek Too. Actually... You didn't know if you liked him. You felt So in Love last night with Him during the little Chase you both had, but you where Probably Misinterpreting your Feelings as Romantic. You never really had any Romantic Relationships With Anyone, and You've only ever seen It happen on Movies and what you Read in Books and saw in Real Life, but you've never actually had a Romantic relationship with Anyone before, It feels kind of confusing.
You where still Head over Heels for Barb, Yet you where going out with Creek? You where starting to doubt if you even liked Creek.

Oh well, Maybe you where Over thinking things and making your Brain work More than it should. Like, For Example, When you say a Word, Like Milk, over and Over a lot of times that it'll stop sounding like an Actual Word.

The Elevator stopped, Pulling you out of your little Trance. You stepped out of the Elevator, Barb Close behind, And you both walked out of the Building. Once you both stepped out, You looked around before deciding to get onto the Campus. You stayed put for a few seconds, Just glancing around while Barb stood by you, also looking around, although she looked like she was about to Vomit or Pass out or like she was about to Punch Someone. You had actually startled her when you Gasped and Suddenly ran from her Side. Barb Watched you Run to some Guy with Green-Teal, whatever, Hair and some Shorts and a White Shirt. She Wrinkled her Nose in Disgust [At the Heterosexual Scene Infront of her] before shoving her hands into the Pockets of her Pajama Shorts and walking over.
You and Creek where just having small talk about a Random topic, that was So random that even the Author doesn't know what you guys where talking about, But Creek suddenly went silent and he stared at the Silhouette of the Person that was standing Above you.(Why am I writing this like it's a Scene in an anime, lmao-)

You didn't actually notice him looking above you at First, But as soon as you noticed that his Eyes where Directed Above you, You Turned around and saw Barb standing Behind you. (This is legit like a Scene in Beastars, but I Stg this wasn't intentional) " Oh," You turned back to Creek, who was still looking at Barb with a Half-Horrified, Half-Confused, and a little bit of 'Oh God, What the Hell' Face. " This is Barb. She wanted to Come along to see who you Where." Creek seemed to Stiffen up at the Mention of Barbs name. He Honestly thought that Barb was the Blue-haired Girl with the little Chunk of Hair Covering her Eye, Not the Tall, Emo one. ".... huh.."
In all Honesty, Barb kind of Scared him. Since Creek was only one Inch taller than you, Barb was also A whole Foot Taller than him. You stood off to the Side, awkwardly watching the two Stare at Each other. " Erm.. Hi..?" Creek nervously said, obviously Intimidated by Barbs mere Presence, Reaching out a Hand. Barb stared at his hand and went back to staring into his Eyes like she was about to Suck the Soul out of him. (IhavebeentooexposedtotheBadStuff,pleasesaveme) Your Date flinched back a little and put his Hand down, Glancing over at you. You shrugged at him, making him narrow his eyes and look at you with a Puzzled expression.

" Name?"

Creek jumped at Barbs voice and turned to look back at her. " Wot?" He asked, Sounding like a scared Oliver Twist for a second. Barb scoffed and rolled her eyes, Crossing her Arms over her Chest and leaning down at little, making Creek step back. " What. Is. Your. Name?" She asked again. Creek looked at you again before focusing onto Barb again. " Creek...?" He replied, although it was more like a Question as told by how the Author wrote how he said it in the Dialogue. Barb froze and straightened herself up, staring down at him with the most Hate-filled Stare anyone has ever seen, Except for you, Because you where Checking your Phone.

".....You-"
" Okay, You guys Met. Can we go now Barb?"

You butted in, stepping beside Creek, Trying to sound as Nice as Possible. Barb stared at Creek for another Five Seconds, making him Shrink back a little, before she Finally Stepped back. " Fine, Go Ahead. Enjoy your date." She Spat that word out the same way she did earlier with the Word 'Friend' before Jogging back into the Dormitory. She left so Quickly that you didn't get to tell her 'Bye', so you where Bummed out about that, but your face was a bit Warm. Barb followed you out here so she could meet Creek so she could see if he was Good for you or Not. It was kind of Sweet that she wanted to make sure you where Safe, it made you feel like an Asshole that you where going out with Creek and not Her.

You snapped out of it when you felt a Warm hand grab onto yours. " Shall we go, then?" Creek asked you. You gave him a Half-hearted Smile, still doubting your Decision to go out with Creek and not Barb, and Nodded your Head. " Mm-hm! Let's go!" You replied and you both turned around to head out of the Campus, But you Turned around, Hoping to see Barb standing at the Door of the Dormitory, but you where out of Luck. Your heart sank a little, but you forced yourself to Turn around and Continue your Walk with Creek.
