Phoenix's POV

"Once you use your myst on your activity and challenges, your out. You will be sent back at the academy and continue to study. On the count of three the race will start..."

Tss. I knew there would be something like this. I looked at the map in my hand and studied the place. If we wanma win, we must find a good route for us to run to. And I think I found it.

"ONE!!!"

I looked at Blythe who is clearly panicking, I can easily tell cause she's biting her lips and clasping her hands together.

"TWO!!!"

I gently held Blythe's hand, which made her look at me with those panicking eyes. I smirked "Hold on tight..." and she did what I said right away. Pfft she's really scared? I know what to say to calm her down "and..."

"THREE!!!"

"Trust me" I said and winked at her before running like crazy while holding her hand tight.

Everyone around us was running like it's the end of the world. Majority of them were running on the obvious route where it's very easy to run to. Some of them like my fellow Royal's and their teammates, even Snow and Trish, run to different directions not like the other elementalist. Tss, so they have there own routes and plans huh?

"Uh... P-Phoenix..." narinig kong tawag saakin ni Blythe habang tumatakbo parin kami. "What?" tanong ko

"W-Why are we running in t-the other d-direction?" tanong niya habang hinihingal

Yup. We are actually running through the woods rather than the already made up road where the others went. "Didn't I tell you to trust me?" I said smirking

"I do t-trust you. The thing i-is, I'm just curious a-as to why we are running through the w-woods when we c-can just run through the already made r-route?" she said having some difficulty due to the running

"I'll explain when we're far enough. " I just said and continued running with all our things.

I think we were running for like 20 minutes now with the same speed as earlier. And I can tell that Blythe is exhausted, so I decided to take a quick rest.

Tumigil muna ako sa pagtakbo kaya tumigil rin si Blythe "Let's rest for a while underneath that tree." sabi ko at tumingin kay Blythe na nakahawak sa kanyang tuhod gamit ang isa niyang kamay at hinahabol ang kanyang hininga.

"Thank goodness..." mahina niyang sabi pero sapat na ito para marinig ko.

"Pfft, come on." sabi ko sabay hila sa kamay niyang kanina ko pa hawak habang tumatakbo kami. Nagpahila naman siya saakin. Nang makarating kami sa ilalim ng puno na tinutukoy ko ay kinuha ko mula sakanya ang mga gamit na hawak niya at inilagay sa isang gilid. Umupo naman siya kaagad at sumandal sa puno. Tumalikod naman ako para kumuha ng inumin na binili namin kanina mula sa mga gamit namin.

Nang makuha ko na ang water bottle ay agad ko itong inabot kay Blythe na kasalukuyang nakasandal sa puno at nakapikit. Pfft, she really is exhausted.

"Here, drink this." sabi ko habang inaabot ang water bottle kay Blythe. Binuksan naman niya ang kanyang mga mata at tinignan ang hawak ko bago niya ito kinuha "Thanks" sabi niya habang binubuksan ang water bottle at uminom ng tuloy-tuloy. "I'm just gonna check the map, so stay here" sabi ko, tumango naman siya habang umiinom parin.
