(A/n: This is back in Olive's POV. That last chapter was to give you a look at what Elmer feels.)

"Can we's go see Harriet?" I asked as we walked.

"Definitely." Elmer nodded. "Should we's go get Percy?"

It's just an small detour. "Sure." We changed our direction to the Deli. When we got there, Percy was bussing tables. He looked up as soon as we walked in.

"Hey, Olive." He smiled. "And Elmer."

"Hey, Percy." I nodded. "We's goin' ta see Harriet."

Percy's blue eyes lit up and he rushed into the kitchen, probably to tell his father that he was leaving. He came back out wearing a dark gray bowlers hat.

"How do I look?" He asked.

"Lose the hat." I advised. Elmer let out a little laugh beside me. We were unlinked by now. Percy grinned and took off the hat, hanging it on a coat rack as we left. We then all went down to the hospital to see my sister. Jess told that Harriet was in the same room as she was in the last time we saw her. When we all stepped into the room, Harriet was reading. She looked up at us as soon as we went in.

"Hey." She mumbled.

"Hi." Percy squeaked.

"What's wrong?" I asked. Harriet closed her book.

"They's been wakin' me up at five!" She complained.

"So she ain't a mornin' person." Elmer whispered in my ear.

"Nah." I smiled.

"It's almost sunset." Percy pointed out.

"So I's could sleep soon." My sister leaned back.

"Is you on any meds right now?" Elmer asked, pulling up and chair for himself and me. We both sat down by her bed.

"I ain't sure." Harriet shrugged.

"Well, ya look betta than you did when we's found ya." I told her.

"Did I look bad?" She asked looking at me.

"You's looked betta." I grinned.

"Who saw me?" Harriet pressed.

"Me, Elmer, Jack, Pulitzer, Snyder and Kailem, and a few bulls." I informed her, putting my hat into my pocket.

"Pulitzer saw me?" She groaned. Elmer and I nodded. "Is Jack comin'?"

"No." I shook my head. "Why?"

"He's sayin' 'bout me gettin' a job with Pulitzer." Harriet grinned.

"I's will talk ta him 'bout it." Elmer promised.

"Okay." Harriet nodded. "Thanks."

"So, uh, Harriet," Percy stammered. "Have you thought about seeing anyone?"

Harriet looked at me. "I don't got time for anybody."

Percy's face fell. "Alright, I was just asking for a f–"

"Why d'ya ask?" My sister stared at him.

"My– my friend likes you." The brown haired boy was very pale.

"Which friend." Harriet doesn't believe him.

"Howard?" Percy tried.

"Which one is he?" She crossed her arms. Elmer and I were watching intently.

"He's got blond— no, black– hair, and brown eyes?" He uptalked.

"You's soundin' unsure." Harriet grinned.
