Yoongi's hand that was once gripping tightly on my shoulder was now gone. Instead, it curled into a strong fist and flew right straight to Jimin's face, which cut his statement off.

Everything went in slow motion, and it was hard to process. Two guys are fighting inside my messy home, and I don't know what to do. Jimin fell on the floor, and Yoongi grabbed his collar before he jabbed the younger endlessly. Screaming Yoongi's name wasn't enough, so I hold him by the shoulder, but he flinched and moved away from my touch. Looking at Jimin, I cried even more. Blood is dripping down his nose and a contusion on the side of his eye. Yoongi's fist and face are now red.

I can feel that other than this, something is wrong. Once again, I analyzed the situation and saw how Jimin is not moving at all. He's not returning any of Yoongi's punches. He doesn't want to fight. "Please, stop," I begged.

Later on, when Jimin was almost in a daze, people from the front door began to enter my abode, and all of them witnessed the shocking scene. The boys immediately went to stop the two, and fortunately, they managed to separate them. Yoongi is still fuming mad while Jimin even manages to put on a smirk to spite the elder.

"What the hell was going on? Jimin? This is the first time that I see you again, and it had to be this way. What's the problem?" It was Namjoon who spoke. He's currently on Yoongi's side and is trying to calm him down.

Taehyung and Jin placed Jimin on the couch. Lana hurriedly went to the kitchen to find some ice. "We need to bring him to the hospital," I announced.

With my abrupt words, Jimin casually waves his hand, indicating that he disagrees with my statement. "I-I'm fine," He stammered.

"Let him suffer." The three horrible words came from Yoongi's mouth, and everyone went silent except for Jimin, who, on the contrary, laughed at it.

"Can someone fucking tell us what's happening?" Jungkook looked at me, but my lips remained close. Lana came back from the kitchen with an ice pack and placed it on Jimin's face, which earned a wince of pain from him.

Suddenly, Yoongi removed Namjoon's and Jungkook's grip on him before dashing out of my house. He looked at me one more time before completely heading out. "I'll follow him," Taehyung volunteered.

"Okay, so no one's speaking, huh? Fine," Jin scoffed.

"Y'all are idiots," Jungkook spat, and then he glared at me. "If Hobi was here, you're asses are gonna get kicked," The youngest added.

While waiting for the two to come back, the rest stayed in your living room. Jimin actually fell asleep on your couch while the others silently talk about random stuff in one place. I tried to engage in their conversation, but I really don't have the strength to continue this day anymore.

As I turn my head over to Jimin, I sighed and closed my eyes tightly. When will this ever end? "Taehyung called. They said they're at his house." The moment Jungkook disseminated the information, everyone began to wrap up.

"Hey, Joon, help me with Jimin!" My gaze immediately focused on them while I try to help Serene and Lana fix something.

"Where are you going to bring him?"  I asked.

"To his house. We figured you wouldn't want him here so—"

"It's okay." I cut Jin off. "I mean, you can transfer him to my room. The guest room is locked, and I don't know where Yoongi placed the keys."

"Are you sure?" Namjoon questioned, and I nodded with a gentle smile. I wouldn't mind Jimin sleeping on my bed. I just really want to take a nap to forget about this day already, and I'm desperately willing to do that, whether it's on a bed or a couch. Either of the two is fine as long as it offers me peace and quiet.

Once all of them are ready to go, I earned a couple of warnings about Jimin, but most of them were only intended to keep me safe and aware.

I looked at my temporary bed in the living room and breathed. Someone forgot to bring out a blanket. Nevertheless, I looked at the clock that shows that it is already three in the morning. I even forgot that my clothes are wet thanks to the wine that spilled.

Today was indeed the longest day of my life. After turning off all the lights, I laid down on the couch and closed my eyes until sleep pulls me in.

Silence only lasted a few minutes when I heard a couple of footsteps nearing next to me. I don't have to open my eyes to know who it was. The moment his scent lingered, I knew I don't have to guess the person anymore.

"Why are you sleeping here?" He asked. Still, I continued acting as if I'm asleep. "Elise, sleep in your room."

I mentally groaned. When will I ever get to put this day to an end? "Just go back there and let me sleep," I hummed.

"I can't sleep," He said. My newly opened eyes just rolled the moment I realized something.

"You weren't sleeping earlier?" I asked.

"I don't want to talk to them." When I noticed that he was about to sit down on the couch, I immediately curled up against my legs and unwillingly gave him space. His next action caught me by surprise when he pulled my legs and straightened it on top of his laps. "I came here to talk to you, remember?"

"Jimin, I'm ti—"

"Shh, I know. I'll return to your room once you're asleep." Once his piece was said, none of us dared to speak again. The entire house is now plain silent.

But how can I sleep when all the words he threw at me earlier explodes in my head continuously? His gentle touch on my limbs is not enough to help me drift to dreamland if it also brings his warmth. As much as I want to, I don't want to look at him.

The pain from everything that has happened between us resurfaced in just one night, and I feel like I'm dying. Inside and out, I feel so empty. This guy just took every single ounce of hope I had. I pray that one day everything is going to be alright. That eventually, just like Lana and Taehyung, we'll find our way back. Maybe not as lovers but at least as friends. I'm okay with either of the two as long as both choices include me having a good relationship with Jimin.

I didn't realize that a tear escaped my left eye by thinking too much. Well, it's not like the first time that I'm crying myself to sleep.

=====

I woke up to the sound of something being fried in the kitchen. The smell of food immediately made my tummy growl.

Looking at the clock, I noticed that it's already ten fifty-three in the morning. As I sit on the couch, I saw how my feet were covered with a thick blanket.

I quickly got on my feet and headed towards the kitchen to see whose doing it was. The moment I entered the kitchen, Jimin is busy cooking something. "Hey, you're awake." He greeted. His lips are still busted, and the bruise on the side of his eye only got worse.

As he placed the plates on the kitchen island, he smiled at me as if everything is back to normal. As if nothing went wrong.

"Let's eat breakfast together, hm?"
