Yesterday, we visited a lot of places. Namely, Giotto's Bell Tower, Museum of the Opera of Saint Maria of Fiore and its cathedral too, and then luxurious restaurants, which I told Jimin is unnecessary, but he insisted. Well, Jimin is a very detailed tour guide. Not to mention that he's also a very charming and intriguing one.
It's obvious how Jimin already memorized this place. As if it's like his second home. On some circumstances, I bet he'll consider this as his first. Maybe because her mother is here, and it's pretty evident who he adores more in his parents.
Today, Jimin informed me about going out of Milan to see other places in Italy. I'm still not sure where we're going, but I'm already expecting a lot of fun from it. I know Jimin wouldn't disappoint me. So far, his ideas and mood are really uplifting, making me wish every single minute that we'll stay the same way.
Everything still feels so surreal.
I was told to wake up early so that we'll have more time to travel around the area of Jimin's choosing.
Right now, we're in the car, and this time, Jimin's bodyguard, Lance, drives us out of the city. "Hey, can you airdrop me the photos we took yesterday?" You look at Jimin, who's yawning. His mouth formed a tiny 'o'.
Instead of doing it himself, he just handed me his phone. "Mind if I doze off for a bit?" He asks, and I shake my head no.
"Not at all."
He puts on a neck pillow and square-shaped sunglasses before traveling to dreamland. His phone is unsecured; there's not even a passcode on it. Well, I guess that's one thing to smile for. It just means that he's not hiding anything from me. Not that I think that he is, just sort of a perspective.
Quickly, I swipe and pick his gallery. There are tons of selfies and artistic camera shots from yesterday's trip. I sort out the ugly collections of me and immediately delete them from his phone; then, I begin to pass photos of mine. I seized the opportunity to send Jimin's random daily selfies on my phone too. I figured I'd love to have his face saved on my phone. Perhaps, for enlightenment purposes.
While waiting for the files to send, Jimin's phone vibrated. From the notification bar, someone messaged, 'Time is ticking.' And oddly, that someone is his dad.
Out of pure curiosity, which I will probably regret later, I tapped on the notification, and it directed me to his messages. I was expecting a full conversation of him and his dad, but only Jimmy's latest message is under his name.
What does that mean? I ponder. Shaking away the thought, I exited from the messages and went back to the gallery to continue waiting for the photos I shared on my phone. Somehow, I think it has something to do with their business, but the choice of words seemed inappropriate.
Once I finished, I put down Jimin's phone next to him as I've already noticed that he has gone silent and probably in a nap already. After that, I endured a long time filled with silence in the car.
=====
I didn't have any idea that we're going somewhere far today, like literal far. We've spent almost three hours of boredom inside the car. Jimin was reluctant to tell me where it is that we're going that he even snatched my phone away from me. He thought I'd use my GPS app.
I'm starting to worry about our chauffeur, I hope he's not bothered by Jimin, and I's childish bickerings. We're like adults now, and we still get hot-headed over simple arguments.
While Jimin and I were discreetly rolling our eyes at each other in annoyance, I heard the ringtone of my phone.
Someone's calling.
