C H A P T E R 2 2 TAEHYUN'S POV
Winter Break.
I'm with Chaeryeong, and we're just here inside my house. Watching a K-Drama, and now she's crying. We're watching Angel's Last Mission: Love for the third time now. She just loves it so much, and we were the same.
It was almost 5 PM, and the news weather said that we're going to have a snowstorm tonight, so It's not quite safe for her to stay too long.
She bid goodbye, and I hugged her tight before she left. I went back inside my house and saw mom sitting seriously on the couch.
"Mom?" I said, and she looked at me.
"Taehyun. Come here," She said, and I obliged. I'm getting worried. I feel uneasy, it's like she's going to tell me something that'll not make me happy at all.
As soon as I sat down beside her, she sighed. Now I am worried.
Is she sick? Is she leaving me? Did I do something wrong?
And that's when she told me the most shocking news I'd ever hear in my entire existence.
"We're leaving Korea."
My eyes widened in shock.
"What?" I said.
"After you finish this school year, we're going to move to Milan, Italy, for you to study music," She said.
"B-But I can study music here mom... Please I'll do anything you want, but please let's not leave this country." I begged her.
"We're leaving whether you like it or not," she said and left the living room.
I don't understand. I thought she was already contented with me learning music for her happiness. I'm also happy with music, but it's not my dream to go abroad just to study it. I don't want to. I want to create music, it's my dream. But, leaving this country and the person I love, Chaeryeong. I can't bare the pain of leaving her behind and losing the chance of being with her.
BEOMGYU'S POV
After that confession to Ryujin, I never got to talk to her that. We do get to see each other by chance, but we never talked. She always finds a way to run away from me.
Today is Christmas Eve, and I want to see her. It's been weeks since I got to talk to her. I even confessed when we weren't on good terms. Stupid, right?
I looked out to my window to see her, but her curtains were closed. I guess I have to go to her doorstep again.
I was about to ring the doorbell, but then the door opened. Revealing a guy, who's the same height as mine. Who also looked like the same age as mine.
He looked at me for a second, and then looked at the door. There she was, Ryujin. Smiling at the guy in front of me.
"Beomgyu," she said and glanced at me, but looked away immediately.
She looked at the guy, and I was feeling a bit jealous. I guess. Is this jealousy?
"Stay safe Hyunjin. Okay?" She told the guy, and they hugged each other. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. Seriously?
"I will baby. Goodbye." baby?
Then he left using his motorcycle.
I looked at Ryujin and smirked. "Baby?" I said.
"So what? You have a boyfriend now?" I asked and she rolled her eyes at me.
"He's my childhood friend. You jerk," She said.
She was about to go inside, but I called her and she looked back at me.
Can we at least talk? That was what I wanted to say, but what came out of my mouth was,"Advance Merry Christmas."
"Advance Merry Christmas to you too, Beomgyu," She said and went inside her house.
YEONJUN'S POV
I was with Yeji the whole Winter Break. We decided not to go home because the midterms are earlier this time, and also because we had a lot of practice in our dance crew.
Yes, we are now a couple. Taehyung and Jimin were shocked by this news. They never actually thought that I, Yeonjun, the greatest playboy will have a girlfriend for real this time.
Well, what can I say? People change for the better for the right person.
I was just holding hands with Yeji while walking on the grass field, full of snow. I let her go, and she went running on the field like a child. What a cute girlfriend.
I was about to get my phone to take a photo of her when I didn't hear her footsteps anymore. Worried, I look back at her and saw that she was talking to someone. Not just someone, but it was a guy. The same guy she was with the day I pulled her.
I walked towards them, and suddenly both of them laughed. Now, I'm curious.
"Oh hey man," He said.
"Hey jealous ass, Yeonjun." She said, and I furrowed my eyebrows. Jealous ass?
"Oh, you're her boyfriend huh?" He said. I feel that he sees Yeji not only as a friend.
"I forgot to introduce myself the day you saw me. I'm Na Jaemin, Yeji's block mate," He said and he shook his hands with me.
"I better go now, for Christmas Eve dinner. See you, Yeji," He said and gave a smile to my girlfriend.
I can sense that he's up to something.
"Hey Yeonjunie, I also have to do the same. I'll go home with Jaemin," She said.
"What? No no, I'll drive you home." She held both of my hands and looked into my eyes.
"No Yeonjun. You're going to stay here. It'll be unsafe for you to go back home if you're going to do that, so please trust me on this"
It's not her that I don't trust. It's that Jaemin guy.
But again, she always wins. So, I agreed. She went home with that guy. And I had to see her off. While laughing and smiling with that guy the whole time.
