Chapter 57: The Plan.

A couple of ours later we arrived in Prague, our bus traveled through the carnival towards the hotel.

"Wow this place is so classy." Betty stated as we walked through the front doors

"Yeah so why are we here?" Zach asked sarcastically.

"Speak for yourself, I am home!" Flash announced.

"What can I say?-" Mr. Harrington started.

"-The squeaky wheel gets the upgrade grease. Everyone get settled in, rest up, because tonight, big surprise is Prague's annual Carnival of Lights."

Peters phone rang in his pocket as the students talked excitedly among themselves. His conversation was short.

"Hello?"

"Uh, yes ma'am."

"Hill?" I asked as I walked over to him, away from the crowd.

He nodded in response.

"I just wanted to enjoy being a teenager for once."

I gave him a sympathetic smile as Ned ran over to us.

"Hey, guys."

"Hey."

"Look I am so sorry if I seem like I'm preoccupied with my relationship. you know, I'm still your guy in the chair." Ned apologised.

"No, it's all good. Don't worry about it."

"Okay, great, great."

"It's fine." Peter assured.

"So what's the status on the Elemental thing? Where's it gonna happen?"

"Uh....here, in the city."

"Peter, we're here."

Peter sighed.

"I know. I know. It's not good but we're figuring it out."

"You have to do something, Peter, please, we're all counting on you."

"Ned, we'll figure it out, just try enjoy the trip, yeah?"

I nodded my head at him as Betty called him over.

"Yeah. Yeah, babe."

Mr. Harrington started talking about how we had our own rooms this time, something that wasn't exactly a priority problem on our list.

"Peter, we need a plan."

He let out a heavy sigh.

"Yeah. Yeah, we do."

Peter turned around. We were in a makeshift S.H.I.E.L.D. base.

"Yes, sir?"

"That thing's going to be here in a few hours. Are we boring you?" Fury asked.

"He's not bored, he's just thinking about how you kidnapped him." Beck retaliated.

"He had obstacles. I removed them."

"They still won't evacuate the city." Hill informed.

Fury groaned in response.

"Idiots. So what's the plan, Parker?"

"I will be in the cathedral tower keeping watch for the fire monster. Sof is gonna keep watch of our classmates. When the monster shows up, I will radio you guys, and then Mr. Beck and I will-"
