Luhan was desperate for an answer.
He wasn't sure if he was pathetic or just out of his mind.
But he did not care.

He was so curious that he couldn't even sleep a wink at night.

"John. Prepare me for an outstroll."
He said.

"But your majesty. It is dawn."

"Nevermind. Just prepare me please."

Luhan was dressed in his normal clothes and he sneaked out without waking anybody.

"No guards ."
Luhan said to his two guards.

When they hesitated, Luhan said.
"Do you think I could not even defend myself as an heir to the throne?"

They flushed and bowed before leaving Luhan to exit alone.

Luhan grinned.
It was wonderful to be out and about on his own.

He stopped in his tracks.
He wanted to find out news about Sehun.
But he didn't even know where he lived , except for the market they met last time.

He decided he WAS out of his mind.
"I'll just follow my instincts."

The market was quiet. Only some folks were preparing for their own stalls. Others were literally empty.

Luhan strolled along and finally rested himself beside a tree.
It was right beside the market and it was a hill.

On it, Luhan could see the other side of the village.
The breezy wind seemed to be greeting Luhan and he didn't care though his hair were messed up.

Footsteps were heard and then stopped.
Luhan could feel it right behind him.
A familiar feeling.
It couldn't be. Could it?
No, not so easy.

Luhan turned his head to meet the gaze of Sehun.

Sehun was taller. Grown some moustache on his chin and even looked much mature.
Much handsome.

But Sehun was staring at him with his mouth open, eyes wide.

Luham realized that Sehun did not call his name. Neither did he move to step forward.
A twist of sadness filled Luhan and he looked down.

"Look I know you blamed me. Im sorry but it's good to see you again."
Luhan said and turned to walk away.

All his curiousity for Sehun's news vapourized and he only wanted to leave this hell of a place to cry.

He was surprised he could even keep his voice so steady.
The way Sehun was staring at him just now was so heartbreaking.

"Wait."
A warm hand gripped gently on Luhan's hand.

Luhan's heart seemed to skip a beat.
No, two beats.

"Your majesty.."
Sehun said with his eyes low.

"I just want you to know ... that I don't blame you. I just thought we wouldn't have a chance to meet again."

"Are you married?"

"Pardon?"

"Do you have a wife."

Sehun seemed startled but he answered.
"No but I have a fiancee."

"I see. Bye."

Luhan shook Sehun's hands off and stomped away.

Not Luhan. Not Lu.
But your majesty.

Luhan was so disappointed.
He blamed himself for acting so emotional and cold when the other seemed not to care.

He hated himself for that.
He had a FIANCEE.

No he couldn't blame Sehun.
He himself had a wife and he finally understood how Sehun felt that time.

Could they even be friends again?

Luhan wasn't sure.
He just knew it all sucked.

Way sucking fucking life he had.
