12 - Bridges Falling

Chase and Ned stood in the back of the bus, looking at what they're driving away from.

Hailey joined them.

"I have a bad feeling about this," Hailey said, concerned. "Something is definitely up."

"I know," Chase agreed.

"You both are FOS now," Ned said. "Friend of Spider - Man. And you have to remember just stay calm."

Hailey took a deep breath.

They heard a loud explosion and they looked over to see smoke coming out of a building.

"That doesn't look good," Chase said.

"But it's fake," Ned reminded them, "there's nothing to worry about."

Lighting struck behind them.

Mr. Harrington went down to talk to the driver, but came back up seconds later.

"What did the driver say?"

The entire class was looking up at the sky. As expected, Flash was live streaming the whole thing.

"The bus drivers gone," he said.

"What?" the class asked, shocked.

"Oh, god," Hailey said, grabbing her brothers hand.

"It's okay," Mr. Harrington assured the class. "Mr. Dell and I have it under control."

"Oh, no," Mr. Dell said. "Don't drag me into this, Roger."

"I'm don't my best, Julius."

Water exploded behind Mr. Harrington.

"Look -" Mr. Harrington began.

"Oh, the witches are back!" Mr. Dell said, pointing at the water.

"Oh, my god, get off the bus!" Mr. Harrington yelled.

The class ran out of the bus and ran past cars to get off the bridges.

Chase gripped Hailey's hand as they ran to make sure they don't get separated. Something exploded as Ned, Betty, Chase and Hailey ran.

"Run!" Chase yelled.

The bus they were just on exploded.

"This way! This way!" Mr. Harrington called to his students.

"Okay! Okay!"

"Oh, my God!" Flash lifted his phone up to catch what was going on in camera.

"Dear god, Flash!" Chase ran to Flash and pushed him to ran.

"Follow that cursed hand!" Mr. Dell said, making sure Chase and Flash followed Mr. Harrington and the rest of the class.

"Chase!" Hailey called to her brother.

"Right behind you, Hailey!" Chase assured her.

"This way, kids!" Mr. Harrington called to the kids. "Follow me!"

"It's not real! It's not real!" Ned said to Chase and Hailey.

"It seems pretty real to me, Ned!"

"Follow me, kids!" Mr. Harrington said.

"Earth, wind, fire and water," Mr. Dell noticed.

The class stopped running and were watching the Elemental destroy everything around it.

"Oh, no," Mr. dell said. "They joined forces, like the Power Rangers."

"You're thinking of Voltron," Mr. Harrington said.

"Who?" Mr. Dell asked.

"Voltron! You're thinking of Voltron!"

"Hey, look, it's Mysterio!" Brad pointed to someone flying with green smoking following him. "He's gonna save us!"

Hailey bit her lip, knowing the truth.

Mysterio fought the Elemental.

"If Mysterio knows we know..." Hailey began.

Realization hit Chase and Ned.

"Then we're in danger," Ned said.

"Yeah, and so are they," Hailey said.

"We should go," Chase said.

They began running away from the group with Betty.

Flash and MJ noticed this, followed them.

"This is crazy!" Flash said to his livestream as they ran away from all the destruction.

A plane landed as Chase, Hailey, Ned, Betty, MJ and Flash ran. A man in a suit came out and stopped them.

"Ned!" Happy Hogan recognized Ned.

"Happy!" Ned called back.

"I gotta get you guys out of here! Get on the jet!" Happy instructed the teenagers.

"Who are you?" MJ asked.

"I work with Spider - Man, okay?" Happy said. "Get on that ship!"

"You work for Spider - Man?" Flash looked up from his phone.

"No, I work with Spider - Man," Happy corrected, "not for Spider - Man."

Something hit the jet and it exploded.

"Oh, shit!" Hailey said.

"New plane!" Happy turned back to the group of teenagers. "Into the Tower!"

Happy and the group of teenagers ran into the tower.

"We're okay," Hailey heard Happy say. "Just get Beck!"

"Is that Spider - Man?" Hailey asked.

"It is!" he confirmed.

They continued to run.

"Into the Crowned Jewels vault!" Happy instructed.

They followed Happy into the vault.

"Yeah, go, go, go!" Chase said.

"Come on!" MJ added.

"Go!"

"Into the vault!" Happy said. "The walls are eight feet thick! Go into the vault!"

"What?" Hailey said.

"Into the vault! Go!"

Happy made sure that all the teenagers went through before running again.

A droid had followed them and shot at them but missed as they ran.

Glass broke as they ran.

"Take cover!" Happy said.

They all hid as Happy instructed and the droid that followed them stopped and floated, looking for them.

Hailey picked an old weapon that an old suit held as the droid looked for them.

"Okay," she said quietly.

"No," Happy shook his head. "No."

Hailey almost dropped it from how heavy it is.

Flash covered his mouth and almost gasp as Hailey almost dropped the old weapon. Happy watched almost terrified.

"Oh, thank god," Chase said, relieved as he leaned against the wall, his hand over his heart.

Flash held his phone out again, live streaming.

"Put that away!" Happy said, pushing Flash's hand out of the way.

Betty pushed an old armor down and the droid began shooting at it.

Hailey lifted the weapon and hit the droid with it.

"Go!" she said.

Everyone ran into the other room and began closing the door as Happy threw the shield at the droid.

"How does Cap do this?" Happy as he followed the kids and closed the door behind him.
