  I sat at a table, in a bar my two best friends on both my sides. Charles and Ellie. I loved them both so much, but they never stopped arguing, even now. I try to tune them out, but seeing the two people I loved more than anything argue all the time felt like my heart was being shattered like glass.

 "Aren't you a criminal?" Charles asked, an angry tone in his voice.

 "I got a pardon, and you know that!" Ellie argued.

 "Just because you helped us take down the Toppat Clan!" Charles argued back.

 "Henry and I were the main reason the Toppat Clan got defeated!" Ellie yelled.

 "Please stop." I spoke for the first time in a while, tears in my eyes.

 The two looked at me, and looked back to eachother.

 "Look what you did." Ellie spoke to Charles.

 "I did? You started this!" Charles argued.

 I put my face in my hands as the two continued to argue. I just wanted them to stop. When I heard another voice I looked up, and saw Henry. He was arguing with Charles and Ellie.

 "You two are making [Y/N] miserable." Henry scolded the two like children.

 Charles and I made eye contact, an apologetic look in his eyes, the same with Ellie. I sighed, I really couldn't be mad at them. I gave them a weak smile, their arguing stressing me out. This went on for another week, until I finally found out what they had been fighting about when we had gone to the park.

 "[Y/N] will never love you, get it through your thick skull!" Ellie yelled at Charles, who's eyes widened at the comment.

 Charles gave me a panicked look as I got up and left to my car. The drive to my apartment was silent, and once I arrived I sat on my couch with my head in my hands. A few minutes later there was a knock on my door, and a voice call out.

 "It's us." Ellie called through the door.

"It's unlocked." I spoke just loud enough for them to hear before they entered. "I honestly don't know what to say to you two." I sighed, looking up at them. Ellie had a solemn look upon her face, while Charles had an apologetic expression.

 "[Y/N]-" Charles started, before I cut him off.

  "I have had to listen to the two people I love most argue and fight for months, never knowing why, or if it was because of me." I looked at the two, who both avoided eye contact. "I need to think." I looked away, then heard a sigh and footsteps out the door as it closed. I jumped when I felt a warmth in my left hand. When I looked to my left I saw... {Story branches here}

-Charles-

 When I looked to my left I saw Charles sinking into the couch, baby blue eyes, that I could lose myself in, staring back at me; his iconic headset placed around his neck instead of on his head.

 "[Y/N], I'm sorry we did that to you." Charles spoke, taking my hands in his. "I never meant to hurt you like that, I was just scared you'd fall in love with her instead of me..." He confessed, his face becoming red from his words.

I gave a light laugh, giving the man a peck on the cheek. "I guess you were wrong, I forgive you." I told him, my face warm; Charles' face lit up aswell, and he almost tackled me in a hug. I smiled at him, Charles then softly placed his hands on my face and pressed his lips against mine softly. I smiled again, kissing him was what I wanted for so long, and it was better than I had imagined.

-Ellie-

 When I looked to my left I saw Ellie settle on the couch, her red hair looking softer than anything I could think of. I had never seen her so solemn before until now.

"I'm sorry. I didn't want to hurt you, really I didn't. I love you so much." Ellie rambled, intertwining our fingers.

 "Ellie, it's okay. I forgive you." I gave her a smile, and she gave one back. "And, I love you too." I squeezed her hand.

 "Really?" She asked, and I responded with a kiss to her soft lips. When we pulled back for air she responded, "I like that answer." She smiled as I ran my fingers through her hair, laying happily on the couch together.

I'M REALLY SORRY IT TOOK SO LONG, THAT IT'S SO SHORT, AND THAT I DIDN'T PUT IN THE THIRD ENDING!!! I really wanted to get this oneshot done, as I started it back in late August or early September, but I didn't know how until I recently got motivation after playing the game myself today and yesterday.
