The yelling. The screaming. The fighting. It won't end.
"I have made so many sacrifices for you but it is never enough." Dad says.
"You call moving from a small town to a big house in the hills a sacrifice?" Mom asks.
"If you want me out of your life, sign the fucking papers." He says.
I pick my phone up and text Charli.

I put my phone down and go onto the balcony. 10 minutes later, Charli climbs up the ladder and hugs me. We climb up to the roof and sit down.
This was our spot. The place we admitted our feelings, where we said I love you for the first time, where we had our first kiss, and where we made out when Dixie make Charli mad.
"What's going on?" Charli asks holding my hand.
"They're getting divorced and I have to decide who I want to be with." I say.
"Which one do you want to be with?" She asks.
"I don't know. I'm supposed to talk about it with my mom at her house." I say.
"Be with who ever make you happy the most." She says.
"You're gonna adopt me?" I ask.
She hits me and I smile.
"They have their problems but the both do make me happy." I say.
"I know that you'll make the right choice." She says.
I smile and she hugs me.
"I don't deserve you." I say.
"I don't deserve you." She says.
"Oh my god. Every time we do this on the phone, it goes on until we pass out." I say.
She smiles and I kiss her.
"I love you." She says.
"I love you too." I say.

Charli makes a weird face and I giggle.
"You're weird." I say.
"What made you want to be my girlfriend?" Charli asks.
"You are insanely beautiful, talented, smart, kind, and your body is perfect." I say.
"You we're looking at my butt when we met at the beach?" She asks.
