Y/n's View

I get on the bus and the girl who got on before me drops $20 on the ground.

"I'm guessing this is yours." I say handing her the money.

"Yes, thank you." She says.

"No problem." I say before walking away.

"You were talking to the new girl." Trevor says.

"You know what I do to fresh meat." He says.

When we get to school Trevor goes over to her and bothers her.

"Trevor, leave her alone." I say.

"What are you going to do about it?" He ask.

Trevor pushes me but I don't push him, I punch him.

"Enough!" Principal Howard says pushing us away from each other.

"You could've just punched me like a man." I say.

"Y/n, right?" Someone asks.

"Oh hey, new girl. I'm sure your tired of me calling you that. What's your name?" I ask.

"Dixie D'Amelio." She says.

"Y/n Y/l/n." I say extending my head.

"I just wanted to apologize for you getting in trouble." Dixie says after shaking my hand.

"Don't worry about it." I say.

"I'll see you around?" She asks.

"Definitely." I say.

"You got something on the back of your jacket." I say as she walks away.

She takes the note off and shows anger.

"What's it say?" I ask.

"Someone hid my books on campus." She says.

"Don't worry. I'll help you find them before the bus gets called. How many books is it? " I say.

"Four." She says.

"They most likely hid one in each quarter of the campus. I'll take the North and East side of the campus. You take the South and West side." I say.

"Meet me in the courtyard at 2:55." Dixie says.

We split up and I go search the girls bathroom. I find her English book in a stall then go to the East side.

I climb in the teacher's lounge window and search for it. I trip over a chair and find her math book taped under the table.

I go to the courtyard and I find Dixie.

"Any luck?" Dixie asks holding a history and Science book.

"Yep." I say taking her books out of my backpack.

"Thank you." She says.

"Don't mention it." I say.

"Bus 1627 loading at this time. Bus 1627 loading at this time." The intercom says.

We get to the bus and the whole ride were silent.

"Call me clingy but I'm walking you home." I say following her off the bus.

"Why?" Dixie asks.

"Trevor knows where you live." I say.

"I guess your right." She says.

She looks in her backpack and sighs.

"What's wrong?" I ask.

"I left my key at home and my dad doesn't get off until 7." She says zipping up her backpack.
