Dixie's View

My phone rings and Y/n was calling.

"Babe, it's 2:00 in the morning." I say.

I could hear Y/n crying and she was trying to speak but her words came out scrambled.

"I'm on my way, bubs." I say getting up.

Y/n's View; A few weeks earlier...

Someone trips and I catch them from falling.

"Thank you. I'm just really tired." The girl says.

"I get that." I say.

"You must be new." She says.

I nod my head and she smiles.

"I'm Dixie." She says.

"Y/n." I say.

It starts to rain and Dixie sighs.

"I gotta walk home in this shit." Dixie says.

"You can't get wet. It may or may not kill you." Avani says.

"Where do live?" I ask.

"Not too far." Dixie says.

I take my jacket off and give it to her.

"Thank you." She says putting my jacket on.

"I can walk you home if you want." I say as my eye twitches.

"Yeah, sure." She says smiling.

5 minutes later...

Dixie unlocks her door and I hear thunder.

"No thunder or lighting. Thunder is bad, lighting is bad. Thunder plus lighting equals REALLY bad." Avani says.

"I'm gonna go before it gets worse." I say as my other eye twitches.

"You can't walk home in this. Come inside." Dixie says.

I smile and she lets me inside.

"Can I use your bathroom?" I ask.

Yea. Down the hall and it's the first door on the right." She says.

I smile and go to the bathroom. I lock the door and call Avani.

"Hey, Y/n." Avani says.

"It was training and my eyes won't stop twitching." I say.

"I fucking told you that you can't get wet! Do you even listen to me anymore?" Avani asks.

"I'm at a friend's house right now. What do I do?" I say.

"Open the door on the side your neck and press the button." She says.

I press down on the side of my neck and the door opens. I press the button and close it.

"What now?" I ask.

"Sit your ass down somewhere!" She says.

I chuckle and she laughs.

"Bye, loser." She says.

I hang up and go back to Dixie.

"Thanks." I say sitting next to her.

She smiles and I smile back.

The next day...

"Hello, earthling." Avani says acting like a robot.

"Just fix my motherboard." I say sitting in my desk chair.
