𝐒𝐎𝐅𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐂 !

In the middle of the night, everyone living under that brown roof was sleeping peacefully. Almost. It was 3:00 am in the morning when Natsu tip-toed to her big brother's room, wanting him to go with her downstairs for milk.

Thankfully Shoyo's door is not the type to make creaking sounds that scares anyone away with just one creak. Opening the door, Natsu left it open and tapped her brother's cheeks.

Shoyo frowned a bit, and moved a bit, his face turning towards the little ginger. Natsu pouts and tap his cheek again.This time, Shoyo opened his eyes not widely, and blinked a few times to get his vision clear.

From blurred, the view in front of him became more clearer and clearer, 'till he saw Natsu smiling at him sleepily, " Onii-chan, can we go get milk downstairs? Please?" She asked.

The ginger head rubbed his eyes as he sit up without having second thoughts, and stood up from his bed. He hold the little ginger head's small hand and lead her outside the room and downstairs to the kitchen.

Turning on the light, he picked the little ginger up to the kitchen, " You didn't drink milk before you sleep, Natsu?" he asked sleepily and placed the little ginger sitting on the counter. Natsu nodded her head, patiently waiting for her big brother to finish pouring the milk in the glass.

" Before you sleep, drink some milk so you don't have to wake up every 3 am to get one, alright? Now finish this and let's sleep again, hm?" Shoyo pinched her cheeks gently and gave the little ginger the glass of milk. Natsu nodded again and drink the milk.

Walking towards the door to see if his mom locked it securely, his eyes got distracted with a few papers piles up on the coffee table. He first secured the lock of the main door of their house and sat on the couch, curiously scanning the papers. I hope I'm not getting adopted. He thought to himself.

But instead of seeing adoption papers, he saw transcripts from middle school, medical forms, and his information printed in a single paper.

" Hm? What's this for?" He asked to himself, but instead of lookin further more, he neatly piled up the papers like what it was before and stood up from the couch, " Natsu, are you done?"

Natsu turned her head, licking her upper lip, " Hm!" and hummed while nodding her head. Shoyo placed the glass in the sink, picked the little ginger up, and they walked upstairs to go back to sleep. Not putting much attention on what he saw earlier, he walked pass his bedroom and the room next to his. He opened the door, and let Natsu run inside and jumped to the bed, ready to sleep again.

" Do you still want Onii-chan to read you a book to sleep?" Shoyo asked, still standing in the door way.

" I'm okay now! You can go back to sleep, Onii-chan." Natsu said, tucking herself in bed. And waved at her ginger brother. Shoyo walked towards the bed, kissing her forehead, and walked out and to his own room to sleep again.

He closed the door behind and slumped to the bed, barely even covering his body with the comforter. Carelessly he laid down there, his small room filled with cold air coming from the AC. No wonder he woke up freezing to death the next day.
