A demon Guhasura ruled over the region known as Guharanya. He performed intense penance and propitiated Lord Brahma. He attained the boon from Brahma that he should be invincible to humans, Devas, Shiva and Vishnu. He began to harass all the living beings after getting the boon. Humans and Devas soon approached Vishnu and Shiva to find a solution. Vishnu and Shiva agreed to annihilate the demon. To overcome the power of boon, Shiva and Vishnu took the combined form of Harihar. In this combined form, Shiva and Vishnu annihilated the demon. When they both separated from each other immense energy came out of them and took a form of a baby girl. A bright light immerged from her and took the form of a teenage girl.

“MAI HU HARIHAR KA STREEYOCHIT ROOP , AAP DONO KE MILAN SE MERA JANM HUA HAI. MERE JANM KA UDYESHYA DHARMASTHAPNA MAI BHAGWAN VISHNU KI SAHAYATA KARNA HAI. KRIPIYA MUJHE SEWA KA AVSAR DE.” The bright light said in a Raspy divine echoing voice and disappeared. Narayan went near the baby and held her in his hands. He got lost in her big brown eyes and cute smile. He was holding her with 2 hands and the other 2 hands snapping alternatively , her gaze followed the snap curiously making him chuckle. Mahadev came near him and also got lost in her cuteness, she turned her head and looked at him and smiled making him chuckle, she spread her arms towards Mahadev wanting to go reach him, Narayan gave the girl to Mahadev, who held her carefully in his arms. The girl touched Vasuki the snake around his neck, Mahadev chuckled that she was not scared of snakes. Brahma dev appeared and saw the baby girl smiling at him, he too chuckled. "YEH AAP DONO KE MILAN SE HUI HAI, AAPKI PUTRI SAMAST VISHWA MAI HARIHARPUTRI AUR HARIHARESHWARI AMARSRI KE NAAM SE PRASIDH HOGI." Brahma dev said caressing her head "HARIHARESHWARI." Narayan said taking Amarsri in his hand. “CHALO PUTRI, TUMHE DEVI LAXMI SE MILATA HU.” Narayan said and teleported back to Vaikunth, his abode, holding her securely. Devi Laxmi saw Narayan with a baby and got surprised. “PRABHU YEH KAUN HAI ?” She asked “YEH HAI AMARSRI, MERE AUR MAHADEV KE HARIHAR ROOP SE JANM HUA HAI ISKA.” He said smiling. Devi Laxmi was in awe with her cuteness, she pinched her cheeks lightly making Amarsri chuckle, it melted her heart even more. Narayan sat on SHESHNAAG laying Amarsri down in his lap, he started caressing her hair as on an instinct. She soon fell asleep. Although he was Jagatpita, Mata Laxmi never knew Narayan could be so fatherly.
