KALA PRADARSHAN

Next morning Amarsri was woken up by a very excited Subhadra who opened all the curtains the light directly fall in Amarsri's eyes.

“AYE AYE MERI AAKH JAL GAYI.” Amarsri said sitting up and covering her eyes with her hands.

“AAKHE PANI SE DHOLENA, CHALO KALA PRADARSHAN KE LIYE DER HO RAHI HAI.” Subhadra said dragging her out of the bed.

“NAHANE TOH DO BUA, ABHI KALA PRADARSHAN MAI SAMAYE HAI.” Amarsri said Subhadra let go of her hands and left.

Amarsri quickly went to the bathroom taking a bath and wearing a red outfit with little but heavy Jewelleries, She tried to do her Sringar the way Vasudev did but it didn’t look as good as he did it. She tried to adjust the jewellery but it didn't work out.

“BAAL KHULE CHODO AUR MAANGTIKKA NIKAL DO.” Vasudev said telepathically to her, she chuckled and did as he told. Now she looked much better. She thanked him mentally and went to Subhadra’s room where she was sitting with Kunti and Dusshala.

“AAO PUTRI BAITHO.” Kunti said. Amarsri came and sat beside her.

“PRANIPAT RAJKUMARI AVANTIKA MAI HU DUSSHALA.” Dusshala introduced herself. They all talked for a good while and afterwards were called by a Dasi for Kala pradarshan. Kunti got excited and hurriedly left, rest of them chuckled and slowly made their way towards the Stadium.

They sat near Maharani Gandhari and Rajmata Kunti. And soon it started, all princes came one by one and started fighting duels. Amarsri saw all the pandavas the elder one Yuddhistir great at using spears and had a serene look on his face, The second Pandava Bheem was huge and carried mace, the fourth pandava Nakul was very handsome and great with swords, the last Pandava sehdev although young but had ocean of wisdom in his eyes and used axe. Kauravas like Duryodhan and Dushashan had arrogant and deceitful look on their faces, Amarsri saw how the Kauravas cheated every time with the Pandavas and Maharaj Dhritrashtra didn't say a word to them, The last prince that came caught the eye of Subhadra. One wouldn’t call it love at first sight but one would say that when Subhadra saw Arjun and she instantly knew that he is going to matter to her. Sometimes someone comes in your life so unexpectedly, takes your heart by surprise and changes your life forever. Amarsri noticed it and nudged Subhadra, who was more red than a rose.

As soon as Arjun entered the arena, a pile of rocks fell on him. Everyone got shocked seeing it, a tear fell from kunti's eye but before it could reach the ground it fell on an arrow that flew right in front of everyone's faces, it was caught by Arjun who touched the arrow on his forehead as if putting tilak from Kunti’s tears. All were shocked to see Arjun standing there without a scratch on his body. He and Duryodhan started fighting.

He easily defeated Duryodhan with his arrows, of course usually one carrying mace cannot defeated an Archer. Arjun froze Duryodhan on the spot Guru Dronacharya declared him the winner and proclaimed him the best Archer in the world. No doubt he was great at Archery. But suddenly an Arrow hit the ice surrounding Duryodhan and it shattered into pieces freeing him. Everyone looked for the Archer who shot it. They saw a man in his mid twenties looking as bright as the sun, jumping from top of pillar like structure. He confidently challenged Arjun in a contest but when Guru Dronacharya asked his introduction all his confidence faded away as if ashamed of what he is.

He told his name to be Karna, Amarsri smiled at him, but was worried that this challenge might bring enmity between the brothers, making her job more hard. Guru Dronacharya asked his father’s name he told his father was Adirath the Saarthi of Pitamah Bhishma. Everyone gasped except Amarsri. Guru Dronacharya denied saying a sut cannot challenge a Kshatriya. Then Shakuni whispered something to Duryodhan which didn’t go unnoticed by Amarsri.

Duryodhan then went to Karna and proclaimed him the King of Anga and said That his 'MITRA KARN' is now a king so he can fight a duel with Arjun. Amarsri mentally face palmed herself, her work here was getting more complicated every second. The duel began and went on for what felt like an eternity, an arrow was about to hit Karna but his golden armour showed up and saved him, everyone gasped Amarsri looked at kunti who had tears in her eyes realising he was her abandoned son, she panicked and fainted but Amarsri caught her just in time. Vidur, Gandhari, Dusshala, Amarsri and Subhadra took her inside and called the Vaid. The Vaid asked only one to stay here and rest to leave them alone so she can check kunti properly. They all went to their rooms except Subhadra who stayed with the Vaid.
