"It was a mistake, okay?!"

That's what I told him before pushing him away from me. He was too close! I felt like I stopped breathing for a few minutes. Nawala yata ang pagkalasing ko!

"Why are you pushing me away?" he asked with a hint of pain in his eyes.

"You were too close!" I hissed. "Paano nalang kung may makakita sa ating dalawa?! Anong iisipin nila?"

I wasn't afraid if people would see us together. Ang wino-worry ko lang, baka makita kami ng pamilya niya. Ayokong maging kabit bigla. I would never settle for that. Hindi ako ganoon. Ayokong makasira ng pamilya na binuo niya.

"Then let them think the way they want," he said casually. He sat on a high chair right across to where I am sitting. "Unless, it's Vince's feelings that you wanted to protect," he raised a brow.

I looked away when he said that. Nawala tuloy ako sa naunang iniisip at nanumbalik sa akin ang nangyari kanina sa club.

He saw me, yet he didn't do anything. I thought he would follow me when I left them, but he didn't. Maybe, Felicity didn't know? Maybe, they're protecting their images? I'm not sure. I wanted to hear Vince's explanation. Hindi ako pwedeng magdesisyon ng biglaan, pero hindi ko lang talaga maiwasang mag-isip.

I called a waiter and asked for a bottle of wine. "Anong sa'yo? It's on me. Makabawi man lang sa atraso ko sa'yo noong nakaraan."

"Sana tinanong mo muna ako kung gusto kong uminom, hindi ba?" the side of his lips rose.

Inis ko siyang tinignan. "Hey," I turned to the waiter who was waiting for our order. "You can ask him about his order. Kinakausap ko naman siya ng maayos di'ba? Ikaw na kumausap dyan. Nakakairita!" I rolled my eyes.

I heard Jayce chuckled. "Whiskey lang. Thank you," he turned to the waiter before glancing at me again. "Can you still finish a bottle of wine? You even ordered for a bottle with a high alcohol content," he lightly shook his head in disbelief. "You already had drinks earlier with your friends, right?"

"I didn't even ask you to drink here with me," I fired back. "Who cares if I drank earlier? I can still drink. I'm already sober."

Nawala yata talaga ang alak sa sistema ko at parang bumalik ako sa katinuan dahil sa lalaking nasa harap ko!

"Really?" he licked his lips. "Kaya pala ako yung tinawagan mo," he narrowed his eyes at me. "Sebastian?" he shook his head. "Since when did I become your bodyguard?" he asked.

"I told you it was a mistake! Why in the world would I call my ex boyfriend?"

"Bakit nga ba?" he leaned both of his elbows to the table as he looked at me. "Drunk call?" he smirked.

"Of course not!"

I even showed him my phone and scrolled my contacts to show it to him. Magkasunod ang pangalan nila ni Sebastian sa contacts ko.
