Chapter 11

Theo’s POV-

Shai just told her mom that Shai and I are engaged! She was so excited! I also can’t believe she said yes! This was the happiest day of my life. I can’t wait to be married to my one and only Shai.

Shai and I are watching tv when Shai asks me a question. “Hey Theo, I know its sudden, and we just got engaged, but let’s get a dog.”

“I agree. Raising a puppy with you sounds fantastic!” I give her a kiss on the cheek and we cuddle up and watch a movie.

“What would we name it?” I ask suddenly.

“Whoa, Theo. Calm down.” Shai laughs and holds up her hands.

“I’m sorry Shai. That was sudden.”

“It’s alright Theo.”

Shai’s POV- (1 week later)

Theo and I decide to get a dog later this month. But I remembered something I need to tell Theo. He might be upset. But I guess I’ll just have to tell him now though.

I walk towards Theo, who’s in the kitchen, eating a slice of pizza. “Hey Theo.”

“Hey Shai. What’s up?”

“Oh, just admiring the ring you got me..” I give a beaming smile and he smiles back.

“I knew that you would like it.”

“ Yeah..By the way Theo, I should tell you something.”

“Yeah, Shai?”

“Well I have to go away. For a few months.”

“For what,” Theo says kind of demandingly.

“I have the Fault in our Stars Tour coming up. It starts really soon. It may be April, but this movie is BIG.”

“Oh but I’ll miss you,” Theo says softly.

“I know but you can do it. Ok Theo?”

“Ok.”
