Chapter Eleven

It feels weird having Zayn leave again. We had a great night and I didn't want the day to end. I go back to avoiding Chris and getting my work done.
The week fly's by fast and the weekend welcomes me with open arms. Taylor invited me to the dock with her and a bunch of people from school. I haven't done much exploring and I deserve a little air

The wind is breezy and ships through my hair, wrapping me in a black cloak. So people are in the warm night water and others sit around drinking. I follow Taylor and she takes a seat beside Chris and two other guys. I've seen them on campus but I Dont know their names. Chris starts taking off his clothes revealing a nice body and super white feet. I bust out laughing and everyone joins in.
"What's funny, Jay?" He questions. I try to stop laughing but I can't.
"Feet.." I laugh. He walks over and picks me up and tosses me right in the lake. I scream. I stomp out of the water and charge towards him.
"You. Stupid. Little. Fish. Face."
I swing and my fist connects with his nose. Instant blood rush. My mouth falls open as he bleeds everywhere. Now everyone is looking. Taylor has her mouth wide open.
"Shit."
That's all he says. I grab his free hand and drag him to the bathroom.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know.." I say. "Zayn usually blocks my...are you okay?"
I get two tampons and some tissue. I stand between his legs and clean up all the blood, stuffing a tiny tampon in each nose.
Chris puts his hands on my waist, looking up at the sky. I stand still, not sure if I should move. I look up and now he's staring at me.
"You really are beautiful. He was right." He whispers. I cock my head to the side, not comprehending the statement.
"I'm sorry about that punch."
He shrugs, leaning down. He stares at my lips and leans closer. The bathroom door swings up and I step away fast.
"Oh! I didn't know I was invad-" Talia says.
"You weren't. He's all patched up. I gotta go."
What the hell was I thinking.
