Escorting the rogues off our territory was a lot less stressful than I imagined it to be. The stressful thing was trying to figure out better security and guarding the boarders. But I don't care how stressful it can be, if it keeps Carter safe, that's all I care about.

Carter.

My little mate, goddess I love her and her short height, and her petite figure, and her long blonde hair, and her soft skin, and her blush, and her beautiful green eyes, and every little thing about her.

My wolf and I are still pissed off at the fact we didn't protect her more. That's twice in the same month rogues came onto our territory and twice in one month they threatened my little Luna.

I drop the papers and maps that contained the routes each group took to make their rounds and sigh deeply, bringing my hands over my eyes and taking a small time to clear my head and think of someone who causes me to relax - Carter.

I swear, I've known her two months and the girl is my everything, she has been since the second I laid my eyes on her. She's going to be a perfect Luna, a caring gentle kind of Luna that every pack deserves.

Honestly, I can't wait until we're in our own house and we'll get married after that. I can't wait to have pups with her, I want a little girl just like her. Just the thought of Carter with a pregnant belly makes my wolf purr. And the thought of her holding a baby girl with golden blonde hair just like hers in her arms makes my wolf not want to wait.

But that's when I just think of our princess broken, completely shattered and scared of our world - I'm not letting that happen again.

"One day."I tell Benjamin.

"Whenever she's ready."Benjamin agrees with me. "She's ours, we know that. As long as she's getting better, that's all we care about."

"Tyler?"Landon's voice breaks my few minuets of peace with his annoying voice. "We've been at it for hours and we've basically got it. Let's stop for today and we can finish tomorrow."

"No."Anthony Austin, my Gamma who gets called by his last name just as much as his first name interrupts us. "You two have mates that need you, especially after today. I'll finish this."

"You sure about this, Austin?"Landon asks him.

"Yeah, my little sister is over at a friends tonight. I have nothing better to do and this will keep the Luna safe."Anthony insists. "Plus I know more about the rounds and every pack members status when it comes to fighters. Take tomorrow off and spend time with them, I got this."

"Thank you, Anthony."I give him a smile as I stand and I pat him on the back as I walk past him. "But get some sleep. That's an order."

"Yeah, yeah..."Anthony shrugs me off as I approach the door out of our meeting room. We had a few of our Zetas working with us but I had sent them back to their families.

"Thanks, Austin."Landon waves before we exit the room completely. I knew he just wanted to see Lee, especially after today. I mean, all I want to do is go up and spend the rest of the night with Carter, I want her in my arms.

"Don't be too loud tonight, I don't want to scare off my mate."I tell him as we approach the stairs.

"I don't know, not tonight man. I just want to spend time with Ash, you know?"Landon shrugs. "But if she wants to I won't deny her of something she wants."
