Saki POV
Shawn looks at me confused. But why? And he looks so much taller than the last time we met.
A lady frowns. "I guess the shock of the sudden fall has altered some of her memories. As of now, she doesn't have any recollection of the present." Now that confused me. Is that lady crazy?
"WHAAAT??!!!" Everyone shouts in shock making me flinch a little. Do they have to shout?
"You mean to say...." a fat boy with bushy hair said with a trembling tone.
"She lost her memories?" A thin boy completes for him.
The lady nods her head. "I'm not too sure but judging by her. It might be true."
Everyone looks back at me. I quickly hide behind Shawn. I'm a shy person, so naturally, I feel embarrassed and awkward when people suddenly stare at me.
"Then why can she only remember Shawn?" One of the boys who played forward in the team asked her.
"You may not know this since you were not there at that time of explanation but Saki and Shawn were childhood friends. They met in Hokkaido when they were 7." Coach Lina explains looking at me. I just stare at her confused.
"I see..." the boy nods in understanding.
"I don't know how much of her memories are altered. So it's best to let the doctor check on her." Coach Lina said looking at Shawn who seem to understand what she means. Doctor? Why do I need to see the doctor?
He nods his head before turning to face me. "Let's go to the hospital Narusaki. We need to check the injury on your head." He said smiling.
"My head?" I look at him confused before remembering something. "Oh yeah! I forgot! I remember falling over something and hitting my head hard before I lost consciousness! Is it gonna be okay?" I asked feeling scared.
The entire team gave me a shocked and confused stare as if I did something wrong. Like they didn't expect me to do something out of normal.
Shawn smiles reassuringly. "It's gonna be alright. We just need to go and see the doctor. It will be fine."
"Okay!" I smile throwing my hands in the air. I grab his hand, happy to get away from here. He gave me a weird look which confuse me more before he frowns making me puzzled. I blush when I realize that I'm holding Shawn! Smoke came out from my head as I try to hide my blush. This is awkward.
"Come on let's go already!" I said feeling awkward with people staring at me as I start pulling Shawn by his hand. I don't want to be here even a second!
He snaps out of his daze before smiling. "Y-Yeah. Sure. Let's go." He replies before we leave the team behind. I feel so relieved and at the same time so confused and embarrassed. Somehow I feel out of place.
When we were far away from the team. I let go of his hand immediately when I finally noticed something or should I say someone missing. "Where's Aiden?" I wanted to distract myself from the awkward situation. 'When did I become bold enough to grab someone's hand?' I asked myself. I never grabbed hands beside my siblings.
As soon as I ask him that question he freezes and looks upset. Did something happen between them?
His eyes get shadowed by his hair before he replies in a whisper-like tone. "Aiden is gone." He said making me confused.
